Spreader roteltates on blast mode only
You have a rheostat problem, or you have a motor seizing up. Your in cab control has a dial that controls the speed ( thats the rheostat), If the motor is seizing you need to address that problem first. You can check it with a volt meter. disconnect the motor at the connector at the spreader ( back of truck), then stick the red in the red side and the black.... in the black side. Have someone start the spreader on "blast" ( you should read 12 volts), then back it down to setting 5 and you should read around 6 volts, and 2.5 on the dial should read about 3 volts and so on. If this is working you have a motor problem, If you dont see the different voltage reading you have a problem in you cab controls.
