SOURCE: two vertical lines across screen

This is a common problem when LCDs are subjected to strong shock. Your internal circuits are damaged The panel itself may not be cracked but there is internal damage. I know of no cure or repair possible other than to replace the panel assembly.

SOURCE: White screen. Faint vertical lines

Check capacitors that filter the signal from de character generator ic. Unsolder it or them if there are more than one (usually are of 220 micro and test it with an analog tester. If ok, look for the datasheet fo the IC and check if the vcc pin keeps energized when the monitor is on save mode.

SOURCE: no sound coming from speakers.

Did you run the audio cable from the computer to the monitor. If not you must have that for the speakers to work. If yes can you verify computer output with another pair of speakers to narrow it down to computer or monitor. If it is the monitor built in speakers that are the problem reply and we can go through a procedure to get them working.

I don't have the sound disk anymore and the monitor is not producing any sound. When I try to download the driver my computer says it doesn't recognize my model VA1930wm

The monitor driver is for your computer to recognize all the resolutions your monitor can handle, there is no sound driver for the monitor to work since the monitor built-in powered speakers are jsut that, powered speakers, same as the one you buy if the monitor does not have built-in powered speaker.
You can test the monitor speaker system by feeding it with the MP3 player or any sound sources.
It may have bad power amplifiers IC. You will be better off spending money on a good set of PC powered speaker system that will provide a lot better sound quality than the quarter-size speakers in the monitor.

No sound on my Samsung SyncMaster 930MP All drivers are updated

Lets find out first if it is the monitor amplifiers problem or PC sound card problem.
Try feeding the monitor with sound source such as MP3 player to see if you can get the sound or not, the sound system in the monitor is nothing more than Powered PC speakers mounted inside the monitor, no driver required to make the sound to work.
If it is the amp problem inside, you will be better off spending money on a good set of Powered speakers system that will have 100 times better sound quality than the monitor built-in speakers.

The computer doesn't recognize the audio system from the monitor. Which is a Nokia 449za.

The powered speakers inside the monitor operates the same way as the Powered speaker system that you can buy in the stores, it just sitting inside the monitor instead of sitting on your desk.
Try feeding the MP3 player into the audio line in of the monitor to see if you can get sound, if you do, then it is not the speakers problem in the monitor but sound card problems in the PC. Post back what you find.

You should feed the MP3 into the monitor audio line in to see if you can get sound, you do not have to install any sound driver for the monitor, it works the same as a set of powered PC speaker system, no driver to install.
do you get sound from the PC using powered speakers?

The built-in speakers no longer work. The icons register volume changes, but there is absolutely no sound at all.

You need to feed it with another sound source such as a MP3 player to see if it works, if it does, then you PC sound card/drivers/software/setup may be the problem. If it is the monitor, then it can be the power amplifier IC which is not worth repairing, you will be better off spending money on a good set of powered PC speakers instead that will give you much better sound than the monitor's speakers.

One of the 2ch speakers is not working. so how i could fix? email: tsigablemma@yahoo.com

First, try feeding it with an audio source such as MP3 player, if it still does not work, then you will have to troubleshoot it down to component level which I do not believe it is worth it since you will be bettter of buying a good set powered speaker PC sytem that will give you better sound anyway.
Here is the service manual for the ACER X193W.
http://elektrotanya.com/?q=showresult&megnev=Acer%20&megnev2=X193W&kategoria=monitor&kat2=schematics
It can be the power amplifirers are not getting the DC feeding it or the power amp IC is bad.

No power to screen

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed LG and other monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.
