Press the Power key > Activate power saving. To deactivate power saving mode, press the Power key > Deactivate power saving.
When activated, the power saving mode turns off some functions automatically. Radio configuration in power saving mode include the cellular radio (it is set to 2G/GSM only mode), the Bluetooth radio (it is turned off) and the Wi-Fi/WLAN radio (scanning for new networks in turned off but existing networks keep functioning). The power saving mode also reduces display power consumption by minimizingscreen brightness and by turning off touch screen feedback and theme effects. In addition the vibra alerts are turned off in a power saving mode. Hope that helps Anomy.

Simple power hack, to do this, kind of like hot wiring your computer.

Turn the power on at the wall, Flick the switch on the back of the computer (if there is one on the back) to the on position, make sure the cable is plugged in, and turn the power off at the wall, hold the power switch on the front and turn the power on at the wall.

This will cause the power to jump across the switch, causing the computer so sound a bit like a motorbike being started.

The power will come on it will turn over click and go off. After this turn the switch of at the back of the computer, and turn it back on, and the computer will boot up.

The first bit of this is just charging the capacitors in the power supply, the second bit is turning your computer on.

Here are some of the steps to you can reboot your pc without using a keyboard:

1) Long press the power button
- Press the power button for about 3-5 seconds. If the power LED or power supply fan shuts off, that means you have successfully turn off your pc. Press it again to turn on.

2) Unplug the power cord from the power supply
- Force your pc to shutdown by unplugging the power cord from the power supply of your pc. Put it back again and press power button to turn on.

Note: Please make sure you have saved important activities before doing this as this will immediately turn off your pc.

Solution one: Press and quickly release the Power button Follow these steps to turn on the product correctly.

1. Remove any memory cards or USB drives from the HP product.

If you press and hold the Power button too long, the product might turn on and then turn off without restarting. The product might also appear to be turned off in Powersave mode. In either case, press, and then quickly release the Power button ( ) to turn on the product. Solution two: Check the electrical connections and outlet Follow these steps to make sure that all the power systems work correctly.

   NOTE: The power cord detaches from the power module. The term power supply refers to both the power module and the power cord.
2. Carefully inspect the power supply for visible damage. If the power cord or power module shows any damage, contact HP to replace the power supply.
3. Disconnect the power supply from the back of the product.
4. Wait at least 30 seconds, and then plug the disconnected power supply into an electrical outlet. Do not use a power strip or surge suppressor. If the green light (LED) on the power supply does not light up, contact HP to replace the power supply.
5. Reconnect the power supply to the product.
6. Press and quickly release the Power button ( ) to turn on the product.
7. If the product still does not turn on, connect the product to an electrical outlet in another room, and then quickly press and release the Power button ( ) to turn on the product.
   • If the product turns on , the electrical outlet in the original room caused the issue.
   • If the product still does not turn on , continue with the next solution.

Solution three: Make sure that other devices are not causing the issue Follow these steps to make sure that devices plugged into the HP product are not causing the problem

1. If the parallel and universal serial bus (USB) ports of the HP product have other devices plugged into them, unplug those devices.
2. Press the Power button ( ) to turn on the HP product.
3. Monitor the HP product to see if it turns off again.

• If these steps resolved the issue , there is no need to continue troubleshooting.
• If the issue persists , see the next step.

Solution four: Service the product If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.

Please try below resets

Power Drain:

• Turn OFF the printer, disconnect the power cable from backside of the printer and from wall outlet.
• Press and hold the Power button for 60 seconds.
• Connect the cable and turn ON the printer.

Partial Reset

• Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
• Press and hold "#" and "3" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
• If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.

Semi-Full reset

• Remove the ink cartridges.
• Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
• Press and hold "#" and "6" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
• If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.
• Insert the ink cartridges.

NVM Reset

• Remove the ink cartridges.
• Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
• Press and hold "Enter" and "Cancel" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
• If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.
• Insert the ink cartridges.

while printing the two red lights turn on and stop printing,i press the power to off.. i turn it on so many times but still no power.. in the morning, i press the power to on and the 2 red lights appears again, then i turn it off, ..i try to turn it on many times but still no power. help me pls...

replace the power supply-from a computer store, should be no more than 30 dollars
