Orbo jr tablet won't stay connected to internet. Have 2 exact same tablets, one connects and stays, other does not. Especially when in Play Store

Power the tablet off then back on.
Check the internet settings under "settings" "wifi". Compare to the one that works well.
Visit the company website for tech support or read user forums.
Update the firmware from the company website.

Hisense Codes

Try opening internet explorer and going to www.google.com
If this also produces an error, go to START -> Type "CMD" in the search box and hit ENTER
A black box will apear.
Type "ping www.google.com"
If it comes back with errors, it is your internet connection. You can be connected to your home network whilst your internet is not working.
Are you on windows 7?
If so try this:
There should be a network icon at the bottom right of your screen, a computer icon. Right click it, select "open network and sharing center"

You should have a network that says LOCAL AREA CONNECTION. Select this.
Click on DETAILS...
You should have an IPv4 Address that looks similar to "192.168.1.3"
Write down this address.
Close the current screen. You should be on the LOCAL AREA CONNECTION STATUS screen again.
Click PROPERTIES.
Double click the INTERNET PROCOTOL VERSION 4
Select USE THE FOLLOWING IP ADDRESS:
Now remember that IPv4 address i told you to remember? Well put that down in the IPADDRESS field, except add +15 to the number.
Eg. original: 192.168.1.3
Make it: 192.168.1.45
Subnet should be: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway should be the same as your IP but with a 1 at the end.
EG: 192.168.1.1

As for the DNS - Log in to your router/modem and in the summary or overview section it should list the primary and secondary DNS ip addresses, find them and fill in the remaining 2 boxes.

That's it, you're done. Enjoy your internet.

I cannot access the Internet since February 2013. Had 100% internet connection before that.

You will have to open up your network connections Click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled. Make sure your antivirus program is not blocking the internet connection. If you are trying to connect through a modem/router you it should have come with a disk then you might have to connect the usb lead to your modem to get a connection then Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters should see a yellow question ? exclamation mark ! or a red X right click install drivers. The driver might be on the disc supplied by your ISP internet service provider or the motherboard disc You only need to check the BIOS if you cant install the driver Make sure you Ethernet/internet is enabled in bios restart your computer during the boot up process you will see on your screen a certain key to press to enter set up (BIOS) press and hold that key to enter bios using arrow keys navigate to integrated peripherals look for SiS On Chip Pci Device press enter scroll to SiS 10/100m press enter make sure its "Enabled"ima Click start type cmd press enter you will be in DOS mode type in ipconfig press enter you will see all of your internet connection details type in your default gateway adress into your internet search should read something like 10.0.0.138 or you could download one cnetdownload.com on the homepage you will see a search bar type in the ethernet controller freeware you want/need Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC http://download.cnet.com/realtek-rtl8168-8111-pci/3000-2112_4-99235.html http://download.cnet.com/network-drivers/3150-2112_4-0-1-4.html i device arrows key scroll to nstalled.

Try connecting to the Internet through the ethernet port (via a cable). If Internet Explorer loads the target page then you have a configuration problem with WI-Fi access : The wireless security settings are not allowing the computer to access the Internet.
If Internet Explorer does not connect with the cable then the problem resides with Internet Explorer. Try to reset the defaults. To confirm that download FireFox and use it. Besides you need two browsers just in case one acts up.

I want to start inter net from my laptop what to do

Hello Punitrava, Hi, you can connect to the internet several ways, here are the common ones. 1. Via a free WIFI hotspot, find a WIFI area like in malls or coffee shops and enable you WIFI connection on your laptop. after enable the laptop detects the wireless connection and simply connect. 2. Via a USB modem, inquire about this on your wireless telephone company. 3. Via the Local Area Network like computer shops, insert any available LAN cable on your LAN connection, you need to consult the LAN administrator. 5. Via a DSL connection, just plug in the LAN cable from a DSL to your laptop. you need a DSL/internet account from your telephone company.

Friends laptop will no longer connect to internet. She also did not have any anti-virus software on her laptop, but does now. Like I said, she cannot connect to the internet, yet computer shows the...

You can right click on the "my computer" icon, click properties and click on the hardware tab. Then look for device manager. Look under modems to see if the internal modem is still displayed.
Sounds to me like she got a virus. Many will stop the user from connecting to the internet to download antivirus software. Have you run a scan on the computer since you installed the new anti-viurs? If not, see if you can do so. If you cannot run a scan. she more than likely has a virus and may need to clear the hard drive and use her re-image disks. After backing up her important files and documents to an external drive (flash driver, etc.)

I hope that these suggestions helped and will get your started on getting this laptop connected again.
