Can civilians salute the American flag?

there is no "law" against civilians rendering a hand salute. some already do,i.e. Boy and Girl Scouts, Police, Firefighters.
The typical or recommended salutes are guidance written into the flag code which describes flag etiquette. just as there is no law that says the flag shall never touch the ground, it is etiquette and respect that guides us.

Snopes truth or fiction

Can it? Yes. Is it true? Probably not. Religious content has been around for centuries in the forms of books, testaments, so on and so forth. It's very unlikely that someone will suddenly view it as offensive material.

Are some religious bodies opposed to cosmetics?

Some religious groups frown on the use of cosmetics, seeing them as an expression of vanity. These groups prefer a woman to be simple in the way she dresses. Examples of such religious groups would be the Amish, Menonites and many Pentecostalists.

Someone sent this too me is it true

I don't think that it is true.. If there is any changes in the services of Yahoo Messenger, they will be send you a valid email notice and not from somebody on the internet.I haven't received any notice yet so I don't think it is true. It's just another spam, do not believe in emails that will ask you to resend the email to a number of person and the one who sent it, even those religious ones! They are just tying to collect email addresses from forwarded emails for their spamming activity. If you are to sent email to a group of people, try using the "bcc" to hide their emails.
