Question about Radio Communications
You did not specify make or model, but here are a few likely causes:
1 - SQUELCH is turned down too low, and background static is keeping it from scanning, as it "thinks" it has a station.
2- You channel memory may have been wiped out (Unplugged too long, old backup battery, etc) and lost its settings. Check that by manually scanning to a few freq's and see if it works. If it does, come on back here and post the result, and we'll try to find a solution for you.
