Hi Dikita, is this for a math/trig question? Normally the points on the triangle is named A, B and C, then it is called triangle ABC. In your case they are talking about a triangle called PQR.

Let me know what the full question is, and what the diagram looks like... Good luck.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
goodluck!

### If two triangles are similar, what is true regarding the sides of the two triangles?

Similar triangles have the same 3 angles. The three sides, if different in length, will vary in length by the exact same ratio between the two triangles for all three sides.

### The area of triangle LMN is 18 ft2 and the area of triangle FGH is 24 ft2. If , what is the ratio of LM to FG?

In two similar triangles, the ratio of their areas is the square of the ratio of their sides. Let's assume LMN and FGH are similar triangles. The ratio of the areas of LMN to FGH is 18 to 24, or 3 to 4 or 0.75. We would then take the square root of 0.75 to get the ratio of the sides. I get 0.866. The reason it is the square is the area of a triangle is base times height divided by 2, and the base and height and sides of similar triangles are proportional.

Good luck.

### What types of triangles

A triangle with two sides of equal length is an isosceles triangle. The side that is different from the other two is usually called the base, and the two angles at the base are equal.

### What are the different formula in solving the area, height, base of a trapezoid?

o find the area of a triangle, multiply the base by the height, and then divide by 2. The division by 2 comes from the fact that aparallelogram can be divided into 2 triangles. For example, in the diagram to the left, the area of each triangle is equal to one-half the area of the parallelogram.
Since the area of a parallelogram is , the area of a triangle must be one-half the area of a parallelogram. Thus, the formula for the area of a triangle is: or where is the base, is the height and · means multiply. The base and height of a triangle must be perpendicular to each other. In each of the examples below, the base is a side of the triangle. However, depending on the triangle, the height may or may not be a side of the triangle. For example, in the right triangle in Example 2, the height is a side of the triangle since it is perpendicular to the base. In the triangles in Examples 1 and 3, the lateral sides are not perpendicular to the base, so a dotted line is drawn to represent the height.

### Can you gave me a example of a right triangle problems?

In right triangle we are making 90 degree angle triangle, we can have problem for finding hypotenuse or finding sin or cos values of the side of the triangle. For ex,Find out the hypotenuse, sin and cos value of the right triangle with base 4 cm and perpendicular 3 cm Solution:Hypotenuse = SQRT(4^2 + 3^2) =SQRT(4*4 + 3*3) =SQRT(16+9)=SQRT(25)=5 cm For right triangle, sin(x)=3/5=0.6 cos(x)=4/5 =0.8
