What is the reason Drawer 1 feeding two or more papers in photocopier canon 2320L

The separation pad is probably worn out. This pad creates friction against the bottom of the paper stack to stop multi-feeding.

Tip

Minimizing Paper Jamming in any printer

When using any laser printer, monochrome or color machine, be sure to fan the paper before inserting into the paper cassette tray. The technique is simple. Holding a stack of paper in your hands, each hand on the short edge, flex the paper to create an arc in the stack. Then pinch down on the ends of the paper and straighten the arc out. You'll produce a bulge in the middle of the stack which creates an air space between every sheet in the stack. Now the paper will not cling and paper jams will not occur.
The 2nd tip is to note which "direction" the paper is cut because feeding the paper in one side first may provide better traction than if you were to feed the other end in first. Paper has a grain and its lays down in one or the other direction.

When making photocopies, the automatic top paper feeder is grabbing more than one page at a time. How do we fix it?

Clean all the rollers in the ADF with a damp lint free cloth. Depending on wear, they may need to be changed, but try cleaning first. Where the paper stack rests there will be either a pad or roller, make sure it is clean too.

SOMETIMES FEEDS UP TWO OR MORE SHEETS WHEN IT SHOULD ONLY BE ONE

many printers have a rubber or cork pad under the feed wheels to hold back all the sheets, except the top one. This one doesn't have that, so we'll try a couple other things.

Pull the tray out and remove all the paper. If you're reusing old paper, that might be your problem. Assuming you have fresh, clean paper, take the whole stack, pinching it at one end, and bow the stack up in the middle. Now pinch the other end of the stack, relax the grip on the end you pinched before, and bend the stack the other way. Repeat.

With every bend, the stack gets more slanted. Now hold one end of the stack and fan the other end to get air between all the sheets. Fan the other end the same way. The tiny layer of air you're creating between pages goes a long way in lubricating them, so they feed separately.

Straighten the stack and put it back in the cassette. The blue "fences" at the sides should be touching both sides of the stack to provide a little friction and keep the feed straight. The back fence should hold the stack against the opposite end of the tray. (Your tray is slanted at the feed end. On models where that wall is vertical, you should have a 1 to 2 mm gap so the paper doesn't bind when it tries to lift.)

Reinsert the tray and try it out.

My photocopier sharp z810 is not accepting paper.how do i rectify the fault or problem.i need a solution please.

if there is paper in the paper tray but the machine still says no paper, then the paper end sensor is broken in the tray. take the paper tray out and you will be able to see a sensor on top. when the tray is fitted the sensor is on top of the paper. the paper lifts the sensor to activate. i am a photocopier technician.

Canon NP 6650 photocopier. Begins to pick up paper, stops and gives message about jammed. Checked path and see no paper or parts of paper. Need service manual.

1)jammed issue.
2)can u try to make copies by using stack bypass or other paper deck see whether u hav the same fault.
3)or flip over your paper and put it in the paper deck again .Fan the paper ,it could be high moisture and static on the paper.
4)clean the paper dust from the pick up unit with damm cloth.

Does the machine grab several sheets at once and eject them, or does it eject one piece after another until the stack is gone?
