Question about Samsung Cell Phones
Everytime I'm on the phone and I received a whatsapp or sms the phone reset. It also just reset by it self. It's a new phone got it yesterday. Do you think it's a software problem and that I need to take the phone back?
Obviously that is not normal for a new device. I'd recommend to replace it.

If you want to try a simple solution, Go to Settings, Wireless and Networks, then Turn on "Airplane Mode" wait until you see an airplane on the top status bar of your phone... then Turn OFF "Airplane mode"
If that doesn't work, and you want to reset your phone, take it to the place you bought it or any place that is on your carrier.

I faced the same problem with my Samsung Ace S5830 that it keeps losing the network signal. I formatted the phone and still the same problem. I took the phone to the Samsung store and they opened the phone and cleaned it with some solution and i tried to use the phone for sometime and still the same. I was very frustrated with and unhappy with my phone as it is not even a month and it kept on losing the signal and sometimes would restart and would lose the battery charge. I tried doing this step( Settings>Wireless and Networks>Mobile Networks>Network Mode>Select either GSM or CDMA(Depends on the provider) By default, it would be selected as GSM/WCDMA(Auto Mode)
From Network Operators select the desired network and then restart the phone. Hope this would fix the problem.
