Question about Audio Players & Recorders

My Technics SP15 is going at about 300RPM, whether on 33,45 or 78. What repairs are required?

Machine has been solid for years. Suddenly, the plinth is flying around at a massive speed.

How do you remove the lower front cabinet plinth on a Zanussi IZ 16 S washing machine?

Why? If I remember correctly behind the plinth do not have access to anything. If you need to replace the drain pump or filter housing you can access from the bottom or open housing of washing machine. This washing machine has a housing split into two halves and afterwards you will have access to almost all components of the washing machine.
If you need to replace just plinth, may help this spare part list.

Thought it was maybe time to check the filter and now find I cannot open the plinth at bottom of W123 machine. I assume there is a knack to this that I have just not mastered. Any tips welcome!

Just get a screwdriver or similar, and prize the plinth off from the front of panel, do it from the top of the plinth, you should see the filter at the bottom front left of washer.
Turn anti-clockwise to remove and clean.

1. Bend or put on back side the appliance and remove the three screws which secure the plinth to the lower part.
2. Remove the filter door
3. Remove two screws
4. Release the plinth
5. Turn it
6. Remove the plinth

Volume erratic on technics sag76 model

Hi...
Buy some CAIG De-oxit.
It's made for cleaning contacts and controls.
You'll need to open the case ( UNPLUGGED)
and shoot some de-oxit into the volume control . There should be a **** or something to spray into.

You can get De-oxit at radio shack or partsexpress.com

Needle for Technics mk5

Ok, the needle is just a small portion of everything required to get up and running. Here is a diagram of what your going to need:

c8b204d.jpg
The stylus, also known as the Needle, is what you are asking for. As you can see it's only 1 of 3 items you need:

1) Headshell
2) Cartridge
3) Stylus / Needle

If you already have 1 and 2, and you need to replace #3, then we would need to know what model #2 is?

You'll need what's called a STANDARD Mount cartridge, (aka Half-inch). In addition, that cartridge will need to be mounted to a Standard Mount Headshell.

Here is a collection of Standard Mount Cartridges that will fit this model.

Try to stay away from those all-in-one configurations that look like the Concorde airplane. Over time they will damage your tonearm due to a poor design flaw. Stick with a set up similar to the image posted. You can't go wrong, and you'll have more options.

Techics sl-1210s m3 turntable spins back on itself

You have a fault on the quartz-lock speed control electronics. It may be a simple fix, it may be not.

It will require specialist investigation. A Technics dealer should be able to advise you, and arrange shipping back to Technics for repair if you decide that is the best thing to do.

Pfaff creative 1473 Bobbin Case misalligned

Unfortunately, the timing of the machine has been affected. This is not an easy fix unless you're trained and have the necessary tools.

Wish we had better help for you but it will require a machine repair tech to fix. If you've taken your machine to the same repair person over the years, perhaps they'll give you a discount of some type for being a loyal customer.

Hope you are able to get it repaired soon - we know what it's like to be without our machines.

Best,
Kim & Linnette
