Question about Wells F67 Dual Countertop Electric Fryer

I have put 3 relays in it and it keeps burning them out. I checked all the connections and good and tight. Soon as I put the relay in it last about 2 seconds and throws a spark out the side and quits. Thanks for the help.

Check the power rating of the fryer against the relay wattage , the relay wattage has to be higher than fryer. If that checks out ok one of the heater elements must be shorted out. with the power off, check for shorts with a ohms meter.

Nissan 1987 d21 pickup starter

NOTE: some vehicles have the starter relay and starter mounted together as 1 unit. Sometimes the starter relay and starter are seperate. When I refer to "relay" it could also mean the starter and relay as 1 unit.
Note: "starter switch" is not to be confused with "key switch", although sometimes they are all one unit. The starter switch is usually mounted on the steering column and actuated by a metal rod. On units that are all one unit, the keyswitch/starter switch (both one unit) will have to be replaced. (this is a rare problem, so don't get worried just yet)
1. Check battery voltage, should be between 12.5-14.5 volts. if low voltage replace or charge battery, and try to start car, if it don't crank with new or charged battery, move on.
2. Check connections on the starter relay, even the small one coming from your starter switch. if loose or corroded, clean with a brush and reconnect them. Try to start your car. Did it start? if not, Move on
3. Well now we know the connections aren't the problem. How about a click? did you hear one? If a click is heard, go to #4, if nothing is heard, go to #5
4. Well at least the relay is clicking, but nothing else is going on. The relay is working, so the starter must be bad. Replace the starter and start your car!
5. Humm, connections aren't the problem, maybe the relay is bad, replace your relay with a new one. Move on
6. Now we have a new relay, with clean and tight connections. Start your car. Does it start? If yes, then HORRAY! we fixed it. Does it click? If so then goto #7, If it don't click, then goto #8
7. So here we have a new relay, with good connections that will click when trying to start the car, but nothing else happens. Starter is faulty, replace the starter, and off you go, see ya!
8. So here we have a new relay, with good connections, but it still won't click when we try to start our car. This means that your starter switch is faulty. Replace starter switch and try to start your car. Vroom! finally done with this car problem!
List of shortcuts: if you remove the starter switch lead (small wire) from the relay and apply +12v to its respective prong or lead on the relay, and your starter cranks, your starter switch is faulty. You can actually hook up a starter button this way. If you jump the two large wires together on the relay and it cranks, then the relay is faulty. If you jump the two large wires together and nothing happens, then starter is faulty, or wires to starter are loose or broken.

I have a problem with my cherokee cooling fan relays keep burning out.

Well fred the thing to do would be to voltage drop test the electrical circuit an test to see how much current is being pulled on the circuit ! Do you own a DVOM - digital volt ohm mete , do you know how to use one ? Also check where the relay plug's into , does the relay box look burnt ? High resistance ! there is a bad connection in wiring check that the contacts at the relay are good and tight if that looks ok you will have to check wiring at the sending unit at the tank and any other connector between relay and fuel pump when looking at terminals at relay use a small screwdriver to bend the terminals so they make a good contact try this let me know if this helps you

You have a very good chance that the compressor will still work. If the clixon and starter are loose in any way on the terminals or if the wire connections are'nt connecting tightly, that will result in the wiring and components burning out. Contact a refrigeration supplies store and quote the model of the compressor asking them for a clixon and relay for that model compressor.Put it on in the same way you took off the faulty one. May even be worthwhile if you are stuck, to ask a refrig. guy to help you connect components up. Always switch off when working on electrics. (Would also be a good descision if you changed the capacitor as well.

The relay works on the principle that when voltage is connected and the relay is cool and under working condition, current passes through the relay to start winding. After a short time, current passing through the relays heats the resistor installed in the relay and causes increase in the relay resistance which causes blockage to the current through the relay and it trips (turns off the current to the compressor unit).
There are different techniques for different models to test the relay. Here is a general technique to check the working.
Physically you can observe the burn marks or burning smell from the component. If there is excessive burn smell or heat from the unit, the unit is faulty. Solid state relay plugs directly on compressor start and run terminals. Relay terminals 2 & 3 are connected within the relay. Run capacitor is connected to relay terminal 3. L2 side of 120 or 220 VAC power is connected to relay terminal 2. Locate these terminals. Please make sure that you have disconnected the refrigerator power. Remove the relay cover (if any) and disconnect the leads/jack. Check the resistance across 2 & 3 terminals. It should be less than or around 100 ohms or so( You get a proper reading ).If it shows 0ohm its short and if it shows infinite ohms its open... We'll there could be multiple reasons for which the refrigerator had quit cooling. Relay is one of that. You need to workout all the possibilities in order for the trouble free working of the unit.

P1698 = DRB display of: No CCD Messages from the TCM (Transmission Control Module) = No messages received from the TCM.
Basically the Transmission is not sending information or enough information to your Power Control Module. P0171 = DRB display of: Right Rear/or just Fuel System Lean (not enough) = A lean air/fuel mixture has been indicated by an abnormally rich connection factor. Either too much Air or not enough Fuel.
On the Transmission issue:
1. Check the Transmission Control Relay in the IPM (fuse box under the hood). On the cover should be the identification of where each relay is. This Relay may be bad. Does your Horn work? The Horn Relay and Transmision Control Relays should be the same. Change the Horn Relay and the Transmission Control Relay. Try your Horn now. Not working? The Relay is bad. If this is not the problem GO TO #2.
2. Check your Transmision Fluid ...Level?
3. When was the last time the fluid and filter were changed?.
4. Check the connection of the wiring harness to the Transmission Solenoid. Loosen the bolt (believe it is 8mm) holding down the wiring harness to the solenoid and pull up/off the connection. Check the wiring for connections, corrosion, pitting or burn marks.
On the Fuel Issue: there are many possibilities. Some are:
1. What gas was put in last? Using old gas (from a gas can) can cause this.
2. When was the last fuel filter changed?
3. When were the Fuel Injectors tested?

2000 FLHTCI burning out the ECU relay

Remove your ECU relay and your ECM fuse. Do not do anything else before you do this! Verify that all your battery connections are tight and clean, next any grounds for lamps, etc. make sure they are tight too. Replace relay and then fuse. Carry an extra relay with you and see how it goes. A loose or bad ground can cause a voltage spike which kills relays, fuses, and other parts. good luck.

Try to put a relay on every bulb to prevent burning, and also check the bulb socket make sure it is not loose.

Blower motor does not work at any speed

as you said relay is good,try to check 4 connection of relay,pullout relay,check if there a 12 volts supply,, a 12 volt control by ignition sw.,connection to blower motor, the last connection is to the switch mostly connected to ground.
