How do I respond to someone asking me a question after I've posted an answer for them on fixya? The site seems not to have that capability.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I ask a question yesterday where can I check for the answer and when?

It goes to your Email when someone answered. Could be, no one knew, question on wrong site. You seem to know English and spell, so that's ruled out.

Why have you not answered my question?

Because no one here is obliged to answer your question . Respondents choose which questions to answer and because you are a female you don't get special treatment but you seem to think you should.

So go to a feminist site where you will find the totally clueless and incompetent and ask them.

What exactly is this site?

Maybe your questions were not about something our army of experts can answer. You can't pay enough to get someone to talk to you. Fixya does not work that way. You post a question, someone types a response.

Answers should be posted once someone posts a solution to your problem. Since there are more people looking for answers than are posting solutions it may take a while for someone to get to your problem

Try posting your question in a more appropriate area of FixYa. From what I can tell, you're asking about a porch light timer of some type. You've posted twice in the "Cars & Trucks" area and three times in the "Digital Cameras" area. Your questions are seen by experts in those areas, none of whom may know anything about porch light timers.

I emailed a question and paid. How will I receive the answer to my question. I logged into the site and don't see an option to access the answer.

There does not seem to be any other question for this account. You would have to re-post the initial question and once someone has answered the question you will receive a notification via email from FixYa.
You can also go to once logged in to see all activity including answers to any questions if any.
Best Regards, Ben

Is there a number i can call to speak with someone instead of waiting to get an email?

My friend ... I see you have a request for an answer in the free section and a request for a chat ... I don't see a question ... so I am not going to respond to the request for chat ... I don't know what you want ... even though I am a router expert.

You will not get a e-mail response from this site ... ever ... you will get a e-mail notice that a comment has been posted but the terms of use for this site preclude we question answerers from contacting you question askers in any forum except this one.

So yes ... you can call someone ... but you must wait for someone to contact you through the chat or other feature ... i doubt that will happen until you ask a question ...

on the other hand ... maybe you are talking with someone right now ...

Something you need to know ... we question answerers are all volunteers ... so ... when someone who can answer your question logs onto the site ... and sees your question ... then you will be in business.

If it is your plan to rate this answer at less than three thumbs up ... please save your time. One thumb are negative and two thumb is not a positive thing as far as we volunteers are concerned. These category ratings hurt us.

I have a software from I need to crack it. Please help

I would presume that since "FixYa" is a legitimate site designed to provide answers to questions asked be legitmate end consumers I doubt they allow this question to be answered, even of someone posted the kind of response you desired.

In other words, you won't find the answer you are looking for here.
