What the icon is actually trying to show you is that the pictures are "broken". The camera cannot read the file on your card. Try removing your card and reinserting it then see if you can access the pictures. If not try removing the card and putting it into your PC card reader, using an adapter if you must. See if the PC can read the files. If it can, save the files to the PC. After the files are saved, format the card. If formatting the card does not work it is probably defective. If you can't read the files using the PC card reader, try formatting the card anyway and then test it with your camera. If it continues to show you the broken picture icon, buy a new car. I use Sandisk cards and have never had a problem with one. I have had an occasional trouble with card readers and re-inserting the card once or twice allowed the card to be read.

It is known problem of bad ccd imager in Sony DSC-T1 Cyebershot camera and ccd imager will be replaced.
