Hello hardly hearing friend,
Firstly ensure your headphones work by using them on another device.
Next make sure they are plugged into the green port not the pink one. (that is for a microphone)
Once they are connected, in the bottom right corner, right click the speaker icon and select playback devices.
You should see the speakers and headphones seperatly.
If they are there right click and enable them.
If not you may have a hardware problem and your laptop will need to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.
