I have a message stating hdd mount failed. Please check hdd connection.

Either your hard drive connection is loose or your drive may have a formatting issue.
You can try a number of things before it needs to be sent for repair.
1. Enter the bios my pressing f10 repetitively as the computer starts up.
From here you will need to find the boot options. In this menu will be the disk drive and hard drive. Select hard drive and hit f10. Then yes to save changes.
2. Unscrew the back of the laptop and find the hard drive. It should have a disk icon on the cover. Remove the cable and insert it again then try the start up.
3. Put in a windows disk and try to reinstall windows.
If you dont see the drive in the bios or at the windows install screen your device will need to be repaired by the manufacturer.

HDD mount failure on Toshiba 351c copier

"HDD mount" means it has an internal hard drive (HDD, or hard disk drive), and the copier has failed to "mount" (place in operation) that disk drive. That error means that the internal hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced. It will very likely need to be a special proprietary hard drive, preloaded with some sort of operating system for the copier, and you'll need to get it from a dealer.

I can't access to toshiba e452, It wrote "fail to mount HDD" please advice what should I do?

Sounds to me like your HDD has gone Tango Uniform. On a 452 I would find a 40GB HDD somewhere for cheap, slap it in and then follow the directions in the Service Manual (probably can find it by googling) You'll also need a copy of the latest firmware (SYSTEM 356 on that model). Good luck!

HDD Failure

The HDD ( Hard Drive ) is mounted on the back of the copier behind the rear cover. It looks like a regular hard drive from a computer. It sounds like your hard drive has crashed. It will need to be replaced. You can try to disconnect & reconect the hard drive... Good Luck

Medion akoya e1210 notebook. failure to boot pxe

Failure to boot PXE 061 is a BIOS message that indicates 2 things:
  1. System failed to boot to the hard drive
  2. System failed to boot to a network connection
The apparent problem is failure to boot to the hard disk. If the system was running yesterday and there have been no hardware changes to the system, then most likely failures are:
  1. HDD failure (Replace the HDD, reinstall OS and applications) I hope you have information backed up.
  2. HDD not being detected by the motherboard due to connection issue (Remove HDD and reseat it, then see if seen in BIOS) If no change replace hard drive, if new drive not seen, replace motherboard

Whenever I boot I get the followoing msgs- pri master atapi cd rom primary slave ide hdd primary salave hd smart command failed no 1de master hdddetected press f1 to continue-- then okay But sometimes...

please change the wire connection in your pc from CD rom to HDD so that HDD become primary master and cd rom become primary slave, check after this, and if still get error check your IDE cable, and for the smart command fail may be your HDD didnt support smart feature, so disable this from advance setup

MY IOMEGA HDD 80GB KEEPS CLICKING AND NOT CONNECTING TO THE PC. wHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

There can be several causes for the clicking noise. Your disk drive may not be getting enough power or the drive may have failed. If you have an external power supply for the drive, make sure it is connected to power and it didn't fall out of the outlet. If you can try another USB port on your (or another) computer, try it. If the drive fails to mount on another computer with the disk's power supply connected to power, the power supply for the disk or the disk itself may have failed. If you have an identical power supply from an identical drive, you can see if that isolates the problem. Please post back with results of your tests.

The HDD is disconnected from the player. When you open up the player just carefully push the circut board thing on the gold foil behind the hdd in untill it clicks.
