I have a woodmaster 5500. The water temp is set at 180 for the high and 160 to turn on the fan control. Now my stove is running up to 212 on aveage before it turns the damper fan off????

Sounds like the differential control (combustion air fan thermostat) that cycles the combustion air fan is stuck closed and the safety circuit opens at 212 degrees to shut off the combustion air fan due to overtemp conditions as the two are probably wired in series.

I have century wood stove , how do I keep the seal on the door to stay in place. The seal looks to be in good shape, do I need to glue it in, using what product.

You need Gasketing Sealant and Stove Sealer which is a Red Devil product. Good for 2,000 degrees. Don't buy the cheap stuff, read the lable, as some is only good to 550 degrees and will deteriorate rapidly and fall out.

The fan wont start

If the fan is hooked up with a thermostatic connection, you need to ensure that the thermostat is located where it is registering the heat. If not, try looking in the bottom behind the bottom louvres and making sure that 1. the fan is plugged in and 2. that the fan control switch underneath is turned on. If all of this is fine, make sure the outlet where the fan plugs into has power. Otherwise you need to trace all of the connection wires to the fan and ensure they are all connected. Beyond that, you may need a new fan.

Fan working hot air not coming through front vent

One, is there any air at all coming through the top vent? If not schedule a professional service call with a local reputable company. You may have a blockage. If there is air coming through and it is cool, try letting the fireplace warm up for about 15 minutes before trying to run the fan. The fan can only blow hot air after the fireplace gets hot.

Fan kit will not fit into sequoia opening

You will need to cut back the mortar from the front so you can install the fan kit. If you want to try and do it yourself you will need a masonry blade (diamond blade) on a skill saw and set your thickness on your skill saw to very thin so you don't cut into the fireplace.
Other option is to get a chisel, depending on how much overlaps onto the face, and chip it all back.
You are correct that if you do not get the mortar off of the front to where you can open the front you will not be able to install the fan kit. You can pull up this installation manual at this website http://vermontcastings.com/family/Fireplaces/Wood-Burning/Sequoia/
Good luck. Vermont Castings

Is there a manual for an Acorn ranger wood stove

I haven't found one.... What i did was put a paint-marker line on the closed position.. Get a decent fire going with the door cracked open about 1" (5-10 min) - set both dampers to 1 full-turn open and close the door. Once it starts kicking heat (another 5 to 10 min) reduce it to 1/8 to 1/4 turn open. Seems to burn great like this. I use mine in the shop so i'll also thrown green and punky wood that I won't burn in my house in the belly of this beast and load it up at the end of the day and then close it down completely. It will burn the green / punk wood all night and will still have lots of coals after 12 hours.

I need to wire a 24 volt double pole double throw relay to operate a fan in a furnace parrell with a wood stove.

Your problem has really got me interested in what you are attempting to do. So are you looking to diable the FAU while the wood stove is heating or activate the blower motor for the FAU when the wood stove is hot?
