SOURCE: My ipod touch wont turn on, it shows the little

try holding the menu button and the power button for about 20 secs. this will cause it reset, if this method doesn't work, then hold down the menu button, connect it to a PC then hold down the power button, if you have Itunes installed on your computer, it will alert you that it detects an Ipod in recovery mode, basically after that it'll attempt to fix your problem, and it will be able to turn on again.

Some sweat fell on the wheel and the ipod turned off. when i tried to charge it it got very hot it still wont turn on

Did the ipod show any symbol while it was on charge. Sometimes, the atmospheric temperature & humidity of surrounding area makes the device hot even after a few minutes of charge. if this is the case then
1. Remove any jacket/covering/sleeve of your ipod. 2. Connect to power outlet or usb for charging however make sure it is as far away from pc/laptop as possible and in a breezy area. 3. Charge for 15 minutes. 4. Hold down the menu and middle button for 30 seconds until the apple symbol appears.
In case there is a problem with internal circuitry, the ipod will show one of its distress symbols.

Ipod classic

Try doing this: Toggle the hold switch and put it back in the off position. Then press and hold the center button and the menu button simultaneously for ten seconds and the apple symbol should come up on the screen. Then it should work like normal. Hope this helps!

My ipod will not light up... but it is charged. and i have tried to reset it. what else could be wrong?

When an Ipod wont power On the first thing to check here is the battery because if the Ipod is charge and still wont power ON it only means the battery is bad already and needs a replacement and if your Ipod is still under warranty the battery replacement is cover by the warranty so just take it to a Apple center and let them replace the battery....

Hope that helps.........

My ipod nano wont do anything

Press and hold the center button while pressing down on the menu buttton. The Apple logo will appear. This will reboot your Ipod.

If that doesn't work, restore your Ipod to factory settings by plugging your Ipod into Itunes and select restore to factory settings from you Ipod settings in Itunes.

I think your ipod is dead. This happened to me to. I was listening to it when I arrived at my destination, and I thought I turned it off and I put it in my pocket. Later that day when I went to listen to it, it wouldn't turn on at all. Aparently, it had stayed on. Hold the pause button for five to ten seconds. The apple symbol will appear on your ipod. Immeadility put it in your docking station before it goes away. Your ipod will turn on, and itwill start charging.

I hope this helps. Please rate my solution.

I'm sorry if I sent this multiple times. SORRY.
