Question about Lands Phones

Open Question

Why are all handsets locked and frozen

I have a BT GRAPHITE 2500 QUAD set of phones purchased December 2011.When I turned my electric off for a while on a couple of occasions yesterday the handsets, quite understandably, displayed 'Power cut' and when the electric came on again all was back to normal. After a night's sleep I went to make a call and everything was frozen on all handsets and they displayed 'Power Cut.' followed by 'Set time/date?'. As the keypads are frozen I have no idea what to do! Would you please advise me as to what I do to put matters right. Thank you

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

in case you no longer have the manual....

1. press the tick/menu button twice.

3. press star. you hear 'please enter new day and time after the tone' enter the day (1=sun, 2=mon etc) enter the time using 24hr clock.
4. press the X/security button twice to exit.

SOURCE: i have a bt graphite 1500 phone but for some

I cannot find you a free manual, they are asking for £2.45 and 15% tax.
But it will solve the keypad lock.

Howw do I set up reply and answer on BT2500 trio phone

Hi
Rather than detail the procedure for the phones I found, which could be long winded, I give below 3 links:
1. To the manual for the "BT2500 Digital Cordless Phone with Answering Machine" which may be saved to your computer for future reference:
http://www.ligo.co.uk/data/manuals/BT%202500%20-%20User%20Manual.pdf
2. To the manual for the "BT Graphite 2500" again this may be saved to your computer for future reference:
http://www.shop.bt.com/content/uni2/documentation/73lf/bt_graphite_2500_user_guide.pdf
3. To a page listing many BT phones, which can lead you to the manual for your particular model:
BT User Guides

Hope you find these useful, Good hunting

Bt graphite instructions

This could be due to the fact that one of your phones is off the hook or unplugged. Check and make sure that all devices are operational and charged.. Try applying a warm damply wet cloth on the back when attempting to open the battery cover..Don't forget to check the phone line itseft.
Cheers

Bt graphite handset states out of range but is on base

Hi,

the manaul states that by resetting the phone should solve this. In my case removing the batteries from the handset for a couple of seconds seemed to work just fine.
