You do not download music from your cell phone to your Bluetooth speaker. You pair and connect your cell phone with the speaker via Bluetooth and when you listen to music or make phone calls on your phone the sound comes out through the speaker. Please read the instructions on how to connect the phone to the speaker.from the set up guide that came with the speaker.
Turn on the bluetooth of your phone first: Go to settings>Wireless and Networks>Enable Bluetooth and disable discovery limit in bluetooth settings. After that make sure the bluetooth in your speaker is on and let your phone search the speaker and let it pair with it after that go into your phone's music player and look for its play options and if you see via bluetooth click it. Just let me know if you need further instructions or you could watch this video showing how he pairs his bluetooth speaker from his phone DBEST London Bluetooth Mini Speaker Review
Mine wouldn't either. Now I have paired it with the Bluetooth and it installed something (drivers?), and now it works. So, now how do I know if it is always connecting Bluetooth or wired? I connected the wire and it is still working, so now how do know if I really need the wire or not???
Reset it. If that doesn't work, you need to have it repaired or replaced. If you have had it longer then 5 years, it is past its best by date. Having said that, you say it works fine to start with, so it can't be much wrong. If the sound comes via Bluetooth, delete the entry, reboot all devices and re-pair them.
Hi, I also own a Yamaha nx-b02 unit. Mine whines too, but only when connected via Bluetooth to my Vaio f series or my friend's htc. They work perfectly on my older Toshiba laptop wich is equipped with Bluetooth 1.1. I suspect the problem only occurs with Bluetooth 2.x equipped devices. (might be wrong though) Can anyone else add their experiences please?
