I have a Panasonic tc-50as540c led tv. It has two USB ports on the side. When I plug in a portable hard drive into either of them, the TV doesn't see it. Is there a setting to make this work?

You should find an "input" button on your remote press this and then use the central cursor control to scroll down to the correct input, which is probably "USB". Once there press OK and that should be it!

Hello, plugged in my hard drive, error message "USB over current detected" pop up instead :( Any idea?

That is typically a general error seen on many devices.
Normally it means you are plugging in a USB device (your hard drive) and it requires more power than the USB port can put out. Many TV's and DVR's don't like USB powered hard drives, they want hard drives that plug into the wall AC outlet for their power. If your hard drive has a second USB plug, or a AC plug, you will likely have to use them in addition to just plugging the USB cord into the TV.

I wondering only, how to connect my hard drive to the LCD TV

If you have an external usb hard drive and usb ports on your tv just plug it in. Sometimes the menu for usb drives pops up. If not, try to press source or input select, input on your tv remote. You must see your drive name in the list. Just select it and you should be able to access your hard drive.

Hope this helps!

I'm assuming your TV is set to s-video input already.

Then, p.15 of the users' manual for the Media Station says to press the TV out button several times, each time switches the output between different modes (HDMI, s-video, composite, etc).

320 GB Inoi media hard drive will not play on TV

Make sure you are using the original composite cable and check the connections.
If you are using a SCART cable check the connections.
Also make sure the remote control is responding to media player.
Check the drive responds when you press the “STANDBY” button on the remote.
If the drive responds then the remote is working fine. If not change the battery and see whether it helps.

Also try on another TV and see whether it works. If not back up all the data on the drive and format it and see whether it helps.

All the best!
