It ended up being a bad main board. Everything is fine once that was replaced.

Hello Dan;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.
You have a air flow problem. This will shut down the dryer.
AE= Air Exhaust. There is a hot air distribution manifold in the back of your dryer. This is an elongated cover plate. At the smaller bottom is the blower hot air discharge and at the top is the hot air discharge into the dryer. At the bottom of the manifold is where you are plugged up. This is a common problem for just about all dryers. It is plugged with lint. This is item #17
The manifold is held in place with several screws and easily removed. Unplug your unit before the start of any work.
I have a samsung DV220AGW I'm getting an e - 25281118-sy2vaml5ip4mff3cv0drpm3g-2-0.png

You may also have a rotary fan wheel that is jammed with lint.
This is more difficult to access. It will require the removal of the dryer top and front panels.

There are also several sensors that may shut your unit down. But for now I would go with a plugged up exhaust manifoldI have a samsung DV220AGW I'm getting an e - 25281118-sy2vaml5ip4mff3cv0drpm3g-2-15.pnguploads/images/25281118-sy2vaml5ip4mff3cv0drpm3g-2-15.png"I have a samsung DV220AGW I'm getting an e - 25281118-sy2vaml5ip4mff3cv0drpm3g-2-24.png15.png" class="h_mi" /> 25281118-sy2vaml5ip4mff3cv0drpm3g-2-24.png

SOURCE: dryer stops & gets F04 code. ?? what is this code, can't find it in my book. Thanks LW

the F04 code refers to improper venting of the dryer.
either your vent is too long, or blocked by lint or a crimp.
dryer vents should be no longer than 10' in flexible venting or 15' in rigid venting.
alot you will find that at the EXIT port outside your house is clogged with lint. remove the lint and you should be ok.

SOURCE: Electrolux dryer error code e61

There is a 'tech sheet' in the back pf the dryer. Unplug machine, Remove the access panel on the back to get to it. Reach in and it should be there. It will tell you how to do a button check. You have to enter a test mode through the buttons.
The E 61 is a stuck button.

Enter function test mode and perform key
stuck closed (active). (button) test to determine which button is at
fault. Carefully free the and perform the test
again. If button is free but the key struck code
still exists, replace electronic control.

I have a top load samsung washer and for a while now it will give me a dc error code and won't spin all the water out of the clothes? Need help thank you

If your Samsung top loader is starting to spin, but stops after a minute or two, and starts to fill up with water again... and then after 3 times of doing this, it errors out with a DC error code, the problem could very well be with the support rods. The springs in these rods will get weak over time and allow the drum to become unbalanced during the spin cycle. Fortunately, the 4 support rods are very easy to take out and replace. And sometimes, they just need to be greased properly. I had a service technician replace my support rods, but he didn't grease the top and bottom bushings first, so my machine still wouldn't spin properly. After he left, I pull one of the support rods out, cleaned out the dried up grease where the support rods lock in, and applied a liberal amount of white lithium grease to the top and bottom bushings on the support rod. I then put it back in. I did the same for the 3 remaining support rods. Now the support rods were able to move very freely in their holders, which is necessary during the spin cycle. My machine now spins like it is supposed to and I don't get the re-fills and DC error code anymore. This webpage, http://www.appliancepartspros.com/samsung-assy-damper-owm-dc97-16350c-ap5623264.html , contains a video that shows you how to remove, inspect and grease your support rods properly. It is not hard to do, but can be a bit messy. Have gloves and/or cleaning rags handy. And if you do need new support rods, this place has them cheaper than you can get them from Samsung!!!!

My Samsung dv220agw doesn't heat

The most common problem will be "dirt" in the orifice.
Where the gas comes out of the pipe inside your machine is a small hole, and the igniter will light that escaping gas to heat your dryer. Dirt or sediment can clog the hole, and the machine has safeguards built it so the machine will not run if the gas amount is reduced or compromised.
The second problem, which is rare, is the gas pressure to the dryer is reduced, and she same result as above is realized.
God bless your efforts.

I have an electric dryer with error code EA4. What does that mean?

An EA4 code can mean that the heating element is bad. (It's actually a time-out error; the unit did not begin to heat up in a timely fashion.) If you noticed the dryer getting hotter in those ten minutes, then the temperature sensor in the dryer may be faulty.

With the heating element, sometimes the element will have an obvious broken wire. The other diagnostic test is to use a volt meter and check for continuity in the wiring (resistance). Note: make sure the dryer is unplugged when you access the wiring.

I hope this helps.

I hate to say it but it sounds like the controller. I used to have one that had a similar problem that was fixed with a diverter and a controller. Another year or two later it was doing the same thing, so we just replaced it. Just a warning.

TE3 Error Messag on my LG RC9011A Tumble Dryer

Hi

Just had the tE3 fault code for the second time in 2 years. 1st time it was under warranty so the LG engineer attended 3 times, I'm glad i wasn't paying his callout fee!. Anyway 1st callout was a reset, turn off the power, at the back of the dryer remove the oval shaped cover with the black on it, this is quite large and contained 7 screws. In the centre is a black switch with a red button with a wire out of each end, this is the reset, if its tripped it should push in and make a click sound. This solved the problem second time round but not the first so Ill let you now the other potential problems. So second visit by LG engineer replaced Main board or 'brain' of the dryer this did not resolve the problem and is a last resort. The real problem was a sock that had fell down the front vent inside the drier and was preventing the cooling fan operating. To resolve this, remove the filter for the internal vent and see if you can locate any obstructions you can see, if no obstructions are visible then remove the lower plastic cover at the front of the dryer. Be brave this can be quite tricky, pull off from the edges at the top into the centre. Behind this is a round cover with 2 screws, remove this to get access to the fan, any obstruction should be visible. You may also have to reset as explained earlier if it has been tripped. Hope this helps anybody else with this issue and saves us all a lot of money on engineer visits.

Can't get the front face off

After removing the screws holding the front panel in place, you may also see a series of clips that hold the panel. These clips will also need to be removed to remove the front panel. Another issue may be the drum rests on the lip of the dryer door. You may need to pull up on the drum while pulling on the front panel. Keep in mind that prior to removing the front panel, the top panel also should be removed. Also, remember to remove screws holding the lint trap in place. Depending on the dryer, this can be located on top of the dryer or just inside the dryer door.

Hi, my samsung dv220agw/xaa gas dryer has no heat, it will start and the ignitor light up bright but no flame, it runs and the time count down on sensor mode but no heat at all, can you please let me Know...

Hello,
That is great the the ignitor lights up but is it actually drawing the proper amount of amperage? An ignitor is supposed to draw between 3-3.3 amps any less then this would constitute a weak ignitor where it either does not get hot enough to lite the gas or takes to long to light the gas and the safety kicks in and shuts the gas off so you do not get an explosion in your unit. This is one of the first steps that you should take is to use a multimeter set to measure amperes and test one of the wires that goes to the ignitor. 2.9 would still constitute replacing the ignitor. Click this link http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Samsung-Parts/Dryer-Parts/Model-DV220AGWXAA/1482/0151200?searchedModel=DV220AGW&blt=11 this is the schematic of each area of your dryer. You also have thermistors and thermostats as shown on this diagram part numbers 6, and 7 click this link as well http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_png/PLDM/50037420-00005.png both of these should be tested with the multimeter as well by performing a continuity test on both to assure they are both working. Click this link as well http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_png/PLDM/50037420-00006.png you also on the burner tube have a radiant sensor at 5-1 and another thermostat at 5-5 . Lastly you would look at the gas valve although most units do have coils located ontop of the valve which can be replaced that act as a solenoid yours as to the picture comes as a whole. If you have any questions message me back You do have power to the ignitor therefore I would tend to think this would be an ignitor issue with your unit. Please also remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation it allows me to continue helping others in similar situations in the future. Thanks again
