yes. check the fuses in the dash before you do this tho. The fuses in the dash will go out before the one in the stereo will. Hope this helps and saves some trouble.

SOURCE: Factory cd player doesn't play aftermarket burned cd's

What format are you burning them in? CDA or MP3 most Factory units will only play CDA format, just pick you up a copy of Nero and choose Aduio CD, it will convert you MP3 format to CDA and you should be able to playthem with no issue, the CDA format also works in the old portable CD players as well...

Hope this Helps,
David

SOURCE: 1991 jeep wrangler trouble starting and stalling

It could be a fuel filter clogged up or it could be a fuel pump going bad. Does the jeep start back up after it stalls? Is there any more symptoms?

SOURCE: Clock in radio will not display or radio station

I won't sware this will cure yours but I took the front cover off mine and where the little metel slot things plug into your radio i took some steel wool and cleaned and shined them up. The cover should come off by gently prying on the ends. Mine even had a spring that when you pushed on it it poped out a little. But becareful not to pry to hard. If it won't budge the get someone who can help you pull it off. You should see the metel contacts that almost look like you could take it out to prevent theft of the radio. Let me know if this helped. Just a guess mind you. Please no bad marks, Good Luck, Raz

radio dead, that means no sound or nosound nor dial data?
does the am/fm and cd all fail, using real CDDA disks(store bought)
? if the radio is totally 100% dead that is lost power to radio.

I have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler and a cd is stuck in the stereo. I've tried disconnecting the battery and several other things. it still plays though

it needs to be serviced.
best is to , remove it and upgrade to a media center with no CD.
CD;s are dead. everyone use flash USB sticks now,
like 4000 songs on one stick easy.

the HEAD end CD player must be dismantled to find cause.
it can be simple (done many i have) or hard, expensive and hard to get parts. inside. or just a dirty switch.

How to fix RBQ radio, disconnected battery now radio does not recognize cd

Hi,

The radio/ cd unit, for your model Jeep, has a built in security code. When disconnecting the the battery it activates the security. The reason for this is to discourage someone stealing the radio, as it renders the unit useless. To re-activate the unit you will have to enter a pin number, which should be supplied with the vehicle when bought from the dealership ( check in your operating manual). If you don't have the pin number, contact your Jeep dealer, who can supply the required pin code. Usually the dealer will re-activate your radio/cd unit free of charge.

Best of luck

Cd player

remove ash tray one screw behind there, then remove top dash panel that goes from end to end across dash this just snaps off pull upward to remove you will see 2 screws on top of trim around radio remove these 2 and then dash trim will pull off pull straight back then radio can be removed should be held in by 2 10mm bolts, this should cover 80% of the radios (important TIP) if it still doesn't come out the trick is some of the wranglers have an extra security bar on stock cd players only you will see 2 more 10mm bolt on the top of the dash where you removed the 2 screws from earlier these hold a bracket that is mounted to the back of the cd player once they are unbolted you can remove the radio it takes some pulling and tweaking of the brackets but it will come out
