Why would you want to set the thermostat below 40? They do that so people won't freeze pipes keep in mind if it's 40 upstairsit's probably near freezing in your basement if applies. Did you label the wires from your old Tstat or take pictures? You can't always go off colors. If this is a heat pump you may need a pro or you'll end up causing damage that may get expensive vs trying to save and doing it yourself.

I almost think you have no power source to the thermostat as if the power is off to the air handler unit (furnace), or the 24 volt transformer is bad. Could well be that the error codes are being powered by the battery.

SOURCE: AC, Fan-Auto, Fan-On... nothing works.

Open the air handler. Locate the low voltage transformer. One side is 220 volts input. The other is 24 volts output. Take your VOM and touch the test leads to the input to verify 220v in. Then touch the other 2 leads to verify 24v out.
If you have power in and no power out, replace the lv transformer.

The honeywell thermostat I installed th8110r1008 system is in off also fan is in off but fan starts Up ?

There is no off selection for the fan. It likely has on or auto, but, it possibly has "circ." This will randomly bring the fan on with no call for heating or cooling. Keep your fan selector in the auto position, system to whatever you need!

HONEYWELL RTHL2310/RTHL221 THERMOSTAT AIR WILL NOT COMEON

Recheck your connections. The wire colors may not have been wired in the standard way when HVAC system was installed. I remember the instructions on my Honeywell thermostat(replaced mine about 2 months ago) stated that you should look at the wire LOCATIONS on the 'stat you're replacing and tag the wires according to this, not the wire color(too late in your case). You'll have to verify the wires.Disconnect them(don't worry about noting where they were as it's not right anyway).Using an A/C voltmeter, locate the hot feed to the 'stat(ground one lead of the meter at a nearby outlet and look for 24v on any of the wires).Tag it as "feed".Now,touch this to each wire until you find one that turns on the ventilation blower and tag it.Try the other two,one of them should turn on the outside A/C condensor unit(this is the A/C wire). The remaining wire's gotta be the furnace, but verify anyway. This should be enough to get you back on track(don't feel bad,the instructions in my 'stat confused me a little, even though I've replaced mine a couple times before).PS- I think the blower fan wire goes to the terminal with the little factory jumper wire-this is so you can set it up to run the same fan in heat or A/C(factory setup) or remove the jumper to run a seperate fan for each(highly unusual setup but possible)

Honeywell Thermostat RTH6350 makes heat run in AC mode after AC runs

Well, if it wasn't doing that before then you more than likely know its in your wiring. Cools down then heats back up sounds like the auto change over is on, and the heat setting is higher than the cool setting?

I recently installed a Honeywell RTH6350D to replace a 2 year old LUX and can get everything to work but the heat(reason for replacing the LUX). Works sometimes but not consistantly. Have the common red(R)...

R represents power supply for the heat system.
RC represents power supply for cooling system.
G represents fan (neutral).
W represents heat system.
Y represents cooling system.
Y2 represents 2nd stage cooling.
W2 represents 2nd stage heating.
AUX represents heat pump.
Try calling 1-800-468-1502.
Their english is "REALLY BAD"!!!

I have some heat, burners on, is there a way to get more heat air filters clean i dont know what to do

If you are using a pleated or high efficiency type filter, that is a problem, the high efficiency filters
actually restrict a great deal of airflow, a AC unit requires 500 cubic ft per minute of airflow per ton of refrigeration capacity, 500 sq ft of home per ton generally = 1500 sq ft home has a 3 ton unit or needs 1,500 cfm of airflow, both in heat and cool modes, Honeywelll Enalysises prove these filters even when new reduce up to 500 cfm of airflow, effectively making a 3 ton system a 2 ton in output due to airflow restriction, try removing that filter with the fan on, it likely is pulled in sold with a huge pressure drop caused by tj filters obstuctive flow capabilities.
And 755 of all A evaoprator coils have been plugged or restricted by dust , dirt, oils from cooking, cigarrettes, running with no filter etc, a chemical cleaning of the evap coil above the firnace, or brlow it is indicated as a possible issue. Use the cheap 99 cent seee through filters we used to use

Soleus KFGHP-09-ID Mini Split

This is normal operation for these styles of minisplits. The thermostat is not in the remote but is located on the return air of the indoor coil, so the air needs to be flowing in order for the thermostat to measure the rooms temperature. Set your fan speed to auto and the fan will slow down when setpoint tempurature is met.
