Question about RCA Rtd3136 5.1 Channel Home Theater System With Dvd Player

1 Answer

I have an RCA RTD3136 theater system, bought new in 2013. Worked fine for a few months, then started going out occasionally. I'd unplug the unit and reset, and it would work fine, for a while.

I have an RCA RTD3136 theater system, bought new in 2013. Worked fine for a few months, then started going out occasionally. I'd unplug the unit and reset, and it would work fine, for a while. Now, no sound on AUX IN and only faint sound on bar speaker on DVD setting. Is this unit destined for the trash?

It sounds to me like the audio output transistor or IC is going bad,or the unit is overheating.Try blowing the unit out with canned air and relocating it so it can(breathe)<dissipate heat .

SOURCE: rt2770 home theater receiver rca. Hp In?

Mine does the exact same thing. If I pick up the front end of the unit and slam it down on a hard surface, it then displays HP out and sound comes out!! Freaking retarded. I wish I knew what was wrong with it! I asked RCA and of course they never responded. What a joke!

Sounds a lot like a bad laser. Depending on what you paid for it, is probably wouldn't be worth fixing if you had to pay for the repair.

Remote code for rca blueray player

I bought a new universal remote because my RCA Home Theater remote went bad,
took a few hours to figure out that I had to use the Audio remote code on the list.
I have RCA RCRN06GR Blu-Ray Home Theater. The audio codes that came
with my new remote are 41609, 41254, 41390, 41511, 42041. I believe it was 41254 but try them all if it doesnt work.
