Your phone must be restricted to some specific network. That is why it displays the message to enter code. You cannot remove this message unless you enter the unlock code. With the most Android phones you can go to settings -> privacy -> sim card lock settings.

May be its detecting your sim card properly. Check your sim card in another handset. Verify if its the propbelm with sim card not your handset.

Friend your mobile phone is restricted in other sim rather than smart because the phone is set or locked to only one network wich is the SMART.in our term your phone is not openline. Friend to make your phone open line you need to go to SMART provider and ask to openline your phone.or you need to go to moble phone service center around you and they will do the job.i cant help you online coz it needs software and cable wires to do the unlocking.that would take a short time to unlock just about ten minutes so if you go you just wait your phone and donot leave it. thats all friend hope i helped you.good luck

Now the only way you can do it is to contact your SIM provider , Call them and ask the PUK code , they will ask you some questions regarding your perivours balance and all that , try to use it and it will work , but if it does not work , then buy another SIM and ask your telecom provider to issue you on the same number ! This the way you can do it

How to use a sim subsidy code


With a new SIM card many users receive the message "enter subsidy password". This message indicates that the phone is locked to the current provider, and cannot be used with a new cell network. Obtain a Subsidy Password, also know as an IMEI unlock code. The Motorola subsidy password is an 8 or 16 digit code that unlocks your phone (Remove service provider lock) for use with other cellular providers. Search Google for Motorola Unlock Codes for a list of retailers. Codes are usually provided within 24 to 48 hours, and cost around $10 to $25 (Price will vary depending on Code seller).
Enter the subisdy code into the phone. To enter the IMEI code into the phone, all you need to do is insert a SIM card from a different network to the one that your phone is locked to. This will prompt the phone to display "Enter subsidy password". Just enter the 8 or 16 digit code, and your Motorola phone is unlocked.

Reinsert the battery and switch on the phone.

Enter the default code 12345.

THIS IS THE TEMP UNLOCK CODE FOR A SAMSUNG PHONE
Do this at your own risk:
Instructions
Press *#06# and write down your IMEI
Unlock Codes
Code 1: *2767*688 then your IMEI and then press #
For example *2767*688352708000828246# (Everything before the / for C225)
Code 2: *0141#
Code 3: 00000000 (8 zero's)
Entering the Codes
1. Switch your phone off. Remove the original SIM card 2. Insert another SIM card from an alternative network. Power up your phone. You should now see the "Wrong Card" message. 3. Type Code 1 into your phone, if this is entered correctly your
phone screen should now turn black and reboot itself. (C225 doesn't go
black but does reboot) 4. After the phone reboots the SIM card will be recognized and your
SIM will work. Be patient while your phone reboots and DO NOT press

there are many security codes...this one might be puk code...for that you will have to contact ur service provider...

where did u get it unlocked from?

Hi, If you get error message as PIN blocked. Unlock?" You have entered the wrong PIN code too many times. You need to unlock your phone using the PUK (PIN Unlocking Key) code. Your PUK code is provided by your network operator. If you get error message as Insert correct SIM" You have inserted a SIM card that is not supported. Insert correct SIM card, or contact your Service Provider for a SIM unlock code. If you get error message as Phone locked" or "Enter PIN" Your phone is locked and you need to unlock it with your personal PIN. The phone needs a code to unblock the whole phone.


Be aware that some users experienced phone freezes after messing up with these codes (use at your own risk). The best thing is to remember the code.
If you are sure you want to continue, follow this steps:
1. Remove the Sim and switch on
2. when you get "Insert the SIM" message
Enter this code: *2767*3855# and let it restart (your phone will be temporarily unlocked)
3. Enter *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
4. Enter #7465625*638*00000000# (unlocked permanently)

SIM Cards and Unlocking your Phone What is a SIM?

Subscriber Identity Module (SIM): A smart card containing the telephone number of the customer, encoded network identification details such as: Call Forwarding, Caller ID, etc., the PIN, and other user data such as the phone book. T-Mobile customers can move their SIM card from any T-Mobile branded phone to any other T-Mobile branded phone without the need to contact Customer Service to activate the new phone. Your rate plan and phone number will follow your SIM to the new phone.

SIM Error Messages:

  • Invalid SIM: This error means that the SIM you have inserted into your phone is either inactive or is not compatible with our service. You may purchase a new SIM card from a T-Mobile retail location. Locate a T-Mobile retail store near you.
  • Insert SIM: Your SIM is either not inserted in your phone or is inserted improperly. Please remove and re-insert your SIM card. If you continue to receive this error message, your SIM card or phone may be defective. You may take your phone and SIM to a T-Mobile retail store for further assistance and a free SIM card replacement if necessary. Locate a T-Mobile retail store near you.
  • Unregistered SIM: This error may occur if your SIM card is not fully activated or if the SIM card registered to your account is different than the SIM you have in your phone. For assistance with this issue, please contact Customer Service.
  • SIM Not Ready: This error occurs when you have just powered your phone and is due to the phone not being fully initialized. Please wait a few moments before accessing your phonebook or placing a call.

SIM PIN:

A SIM PIN can be used to prevent access to your phone. When enabled, your phone will prompt you for the SIM PIN when the phone is powered on. Entering the wrong PIN will prevent you from making or receiving calls. SIM PINs are different from a Security Code that your phone may use to secure other phone functions. Please check your phone’s manual for further security details.

T-Mobile SIM PIN numbers are set to default values before purchase. If you change your SIM PIN, it is recommended that you keep record of the new PIN in a safe location. T-Mobile cannot retrieve a lost or forgotten SIM PINs.

  • SIM PIN2: 5678 (Only available on select phones)
SIM Unlock:

T-Mobile branded phones operating on the T-Mobile network may only use T-Mobile SIM cards. SIM Unlock Requests:

Locked SIM card


Brother 3 time inserting of wrong security code gives "Enter PUK" message, 10 times entering wrong PUK code gives "Sim blocked" message. If there is "Enter PUK" message u can get it from service provider but if there is "Sim blocked" no one can do anything to your sim. You have to change your SIM in that case. Your service provider can replace your blocked SIM with another new SIM in normal charge. If this answer satisfied u do vote.

Puk code


The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) is available at your service provider. Some sort of Identity will be needed.
