Question about Refrigerators
My name id Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.
You have a frozen condensate drain. About every 8-10 hours your refrigerator shuts down for about 20-30 minutes. At this time your defrost heater (Under your cooling coils) turns on and melts the frost off the coils. This condensate goes down your condensate drain. If the drain is frozen, the condensate has no where else to go except on the bottom of the freezer.
The freezer drain is behind the back wall of the freezer. You need to clear the ice out of the drain and put a heat sink in the drain hole.
You may try using warm water and a hair drier, but be ready for a small flood.
You did not give a model number, so I can not tell you how to repair.
