Copier stays on please wait after resumig one job

When copier has finished a printung job it remains on please wait all the time

There are two possible solution, the first is that the Drum Potential Sensor is damaged and need to be damaged, the second is that may the NV-RAM is damaged and need to be replaced. This two possible problems need to be solved by a experienced technician. If this question is posted by a user, than the only thing you may check is do the PCU Harness is connected good. That harness is located under the touch screen, when you will open the front door, than putt the toner bottle in position for replacement. right under the touch screen behind the toner bottle you will see two harness re-connect them and see do the problem will be solved if is not than are the two other possible solution i mentioned in the start of the answer. good luck.

that could be a hard drive problem lets try the following switch off the machine, while holding down 8+0 switch on the machine when the machine is in test mode key in 690 press start or initialize the machine will say please wait when its finished switch off the machine wait a few seconds and switch on if it does not go ready the hard disk drive should be replaced

Solution : Power OFF the Printer, Wait 45 Seconds, Then Power ON CAUTION: If the machine is powered OFF / powered ON, all information that is stored in the machine's memory may be erased.
NOTE: Before powering OFF, make sure that all copy or print jobs have completely finished. Never power OFF in the following instances:
  • While data is being received.
  • While jobs are being printed.
  • While jobs are being copied.
  • While a scan is being executed.
  1. Power OFF the machine. The power switch is located on the front right side of the machine under the Control Panel.

    NOTE: Before the machine is powered ON again make sure the Touch Screen is blank.

  2. Power ON the machine.

    NOTE: When the power is ON, a 'Please wait...' message will be displayed. This message indicates that the machine is warming up and cannot be used. After 45 seconds, the machine becomes ready for use.

    If the issue is not resolved repeat steps 1 and 2 a second time.

Samsung slp 770 incomplrte session by time out

The Samsung CLP 770 produces an 'incomplete session by time out' if you switch off the computer originating the print in the middle of the print job (before the print is finished) OR if the network connection is lost between the computer originating the print and the CLP 770.
The printer may have printed the start of the print job but also recognises that it has not received the end of the print job information. It waits for a good while for the connection to be restored in an attempt to receive the rest of the print job - but if nothing comes then it times out.
The reason for this action is to prevent this situation effectively locking out any other computer on the network from printing while it 'waits' for the end of the print job.

How to delete jobs from the disk in the memory of printer

To delete a private job please do the following on the printer's control panel.

1. Press MENU to enter MENUS. RETRIEVE JOB is highlighted.
2. Press to select RETRIEVE JOB.
3. Press to highlight your USER NAME.
4. Press to select your USER NAME.
5. Press to highlight a JOB NAME.
6. Press to select the JOB NAME.
7. Press to highlight DELETE.
8. Press to select DELETE.
9. Press or to select the first digit of the PIN.
10. Press to select the digit. The number changes to an asterisk.
11. Repeat steps 9 and 10 for the remaining three digits of the PIN.
12. Press when finished entering PIN.
13. Press to delete the job.

There are a few code 74's, and Konica has a bulletins on them.

DESCRIPTION: Code 74-0 from the E-mail alert system. SOLUTION ID: 154045
SOLUTION: CAUSE: Paper remains at finisher main tray paper exit opening.

DESCRIPTION: Code 74-1 from the E-mail alert system. SOLUTION ID: 154055
SOLUTION: CAUSE: Booklet tray is full.
SOLUTION: Remove the paper from bottom exit of the finisher.

SOLUTION: CAUSE: Paper remains inside finisher.

I'm guessing it just means the finisher thinks it's full, and wants you to take the copies / prints out.

What this light sequence means:
• The printer is processing a request to cancel the current print
• The printer is resetting to the user default settings. Any active
print jobs are canceled. A user default setting is one you select
and save which is different from the factory default setting. A
user default setting remains in effect until you make another
selection and apply it or until you restore factory default settings.
What you can do:
Wait for the message to clear. It clears when the printer finishes
processing the cancellation request or when it resets to the user
default settings.
