It's likely that the amp module is damaged and will need to be repaired or replaced. If it's under warranty, the repair will be at no charge to you.

SOURCE: Can't get sound from the wireless subwoofer

I had the same problem and it turned out that the directions are very unclear. You need to not only press the ID/SET button on the wireless system, but also on the wireless subwoofer itself. That solved my problem.

SOURCE: Onkyo subwoofer not working

I fixed my subwoofer. The resistor at R16 (right next to the fuse) was the fried component. I removed it and replaced it with a 13K ohm 5 watt metal oxide resistor (from Mouser Electronics if not available locally). Works fine now. I got the solution and the circuit schematic from an audio hobbiest at diyAudio.com. This is, evidently, a fairly common problem.

SOURCE: Error Message

The F61 indicates a problem detected in the output amp stage and the unit us shutdown to prevent further damage. If you can supply the model number, I can give you the part required and the approximate cost.

SOURCE: SP-PWM505 subwoofer does not stay on

Well i had exactly the same problem, my sub turned off right away when i turned the whole thing on. Well i opened the subwoofer and was trying to find out something unusual, i took out, i believe, internal amp, well, whatever that thing is, under the lid. Which one is screwed with 6 copper screws, so you unscrew those screws, lift that lid and that whole board comes out. On that board i find something like burn around one of the parts.

you can see it in the pick, the part q2902, then i contacted JVC. At the beginning they said i need to take the whole thing to service center and so on. But later i made them to tell me what kind of part that is, so here :http://www.jvcservice.com/store/ProductDetail.asp?Part=KTC3199/GL/-T
bought soldering gun in home depot for $15, returned after i was done. And that is it, just have to replace it, but total cost only $12 ($5 part +$7 shipping)

you need to have service manual copy to check amplifier output section as it seems defective. There are few websites that offers service manuals download for small fee.

How do you connect a Jamo sub250 to a Onkyo tx-sr343 av receiver

You simply connect a RCA type line cable from the subs line input to the dedicated socket on the back of the Onkyo.
When you run speaker set up it will set the subwoofer up.

Does the subwoofer pre out if used, work in addition to the powered sub that is already a part of the system?

If the subwoofer you have already is not connected to that socket and is working, I would assume that is then a second socket for connection of another powered subwoofer.

Use a subwoofer cable from the back of the Onkyo (it's labeled "SUBWOOFER OUT") to the subwoofers Input jack. It's an RCA style connector and can be bought at any electronics store or online.

My subwoofer is not getting power to it properly. It keeps cutting out. Any suggestions??

The subwoofer was recalled, check the Onkyo website for information. It was a no hassle repair--they will ship you the box and mailing labels. Mine was working properly, but I sent it in for the recall anyway and had it back within 2 weeks.
That being said, when the subwoofer doesn't think it needs to work, like during prolonged dialog without music, it will shut itself off.

Connect Onkyo CP-1020F Turntable to Theater System?

Yes. It needs to have Line Level (slightly amplified or pre-amp'd) before your home theatre system can 'hear' it.

Connect powered subwoofer to system with no pre-out connector?

You will require a Line level converter... usually reserved for car audio applications - but it should work in yours as well.

It converts the speaker wires to RCAs.

Connected home theatre system but no sound sub woofer

If the system uses a remote control, you may need to adjust the subwoofer out signal setting or turn on the sub in a menu, and on many systems, you can only access those settings via a remote control (you should check the onkyo user manual on how to do it).

Now, this is just one suggestion, it may work, but then again, it may not.

These could also be connection problems or some internal trouble in the onkyo sub signal output section or in the subwoofer input section, but hopefuly, it's just a "turn on" or "signal level" setting in a menu.

Good luck
