I've had my speedstream router for about a year without any wireless problems, all of a sudden the wireless network will not respond but the ethernet stays connected, the light for the wireless connection remains lit on the router but my second computer cant find a signal. HELP

- 6520 worked for 12 mths. as of 7days ago it has failed, no internet explorer or email, all indicators show ok, contacted bigpond twice, everything checked out fine their side, a good connection between us, suggested the problem is my computer. reinstalled 6520 several times but to no avail, ran virus checks using AVG free -- no threats found, it did note a change in shell32dll, but no explanation.- LOZZA1Best Solution

I deal with these routers on a daily basis w/ Frontier. Likley the radio is getting hott and its starting to burn out.. Put your hand on the radio, see if its running rather hott. If it is, unplugg it for an hour. If your a frontier customer, call tech support, get it replaced!
