It's not a real message, it's fake. FB has no way of knowing if you've got malicious software or not. The scammers know you trust FB and that way you'll click their 'scan' link.
Ignore it. If you're worried, run a scan **but NOT from any link that the FB post provides** - use your mcfee/norton/avg whatever.

If You are running windows 10 and outlook for email, I ran into the same Problem. For whatever reason You're not receiving all updates. Go to Windows Malicous Software Removal, and Run a complete Scan, If Using Windows Defender Run An Offline Scan. If Neither work and It's Not a Virus UnInstall Your App For Email And Do a Complete Shutdown.Upon Restart go to the Windows Store and Download Touchmail, That's what I Currently use and It's Great !

Cannot access the website indicated in the following message.[12/8/2009 2:15:38 PM] Software Updates: URGENT SYSTEM SCAN NOTIFICATION ! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY !! For the link to...

This is a trap which you don't want to get caught in. Typically when you visit this type of site, the program you end up downloading is malware.

I would use your existing anti-virus software to scan our computer. If you don't have a good one, try Microsoft Security Essentials which is free online.

"No supported wireless adapter available in this system" message

Hi Cynthia.     I will attempt to answer your questions. A BIOS cannot be disturbed with a virus,at least not that I know if since BIOS is on a different type of memory.Every piece of hardware attached to a computer needs software and drivers to work. You will need  to download everything for what ever doesn't work now. You need to download the wireless adapter driver, for sure. The software is usually included . You will have to save it to a disk or a CD so that you can transfer it to your computer and install it. I hope this works for you.  Good luck.

My C7280 HP photosmart will not scan to my computer.  I get the message "no scan options"

I have had a similar problem that appeared soon after an automatic HP software update over the internet. I solved the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the HP software that came with the CD. I inserted the CD and ran the de-install for only the program that controlled print and scan and then re-installed the software for print and scan. Straight afterwards, the scanning started to work again

Tried everything but replacing motherboard

You said it keeps getting slower. Ok you dont really need to change anything hardware wise as a computer should run as fast as it was when it was new the only problem that could cause it is software problems or malware. As you did nt mention running anti malware software i would suggest that first.

Go to then run the free trial option. Just select download on the middle of the page. Download and install and make sure to do the full scan once prompted. It will take a couple of hours. Make sure not to heal but delete.

Message me if you are still having problems.

Disk consistancy

Considering that u have Vista, is probably nothing wrong with u;re drive ....

Anyway, try to test it with other software (not the one from vista), u'll find plenty of free drive diagnostic tools ...just do a little google search.

If all tests show that there is nothing wrong with the drive, than check all the programs that are active when shutting down the computer (..anything that uses the drives ... log keepers and such ..). If any lucks suspicious, close it manualy, and than reboot to see if the issue remains ...

Anyway a reinstall of the OS woud probably fix the problem ...

The anti spyware software should not conflict with your anti virus software.
You can download two good free anti spyware programs:
AVG also has a free version.
