SOURCE: My dog chewed up cord. How do I repalce Milwaukee

this should be a twist lock cord and all you need to do it twist the connector at the handle area and pull the cord off and buy a replacement, make sure whether it it grounded (3 wire) or double insulated (2 wire), you can go to Milwaukeetools.com and with your serial number look at a schematic for this tool and they also have a dealer locator to ensure that you get the proper one. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Why is my reciprocating carver leaking black goo?

Terri, this is grease leaking from seal on col-let shaft, or loose bolts/cracked casing. Take apart and repack gears and housing with lithium grease ( do not over pack) and change seal if possible.

Iv'e just stripped down and repaired my gearbox on my scooter. however i don't know what oil, grease is required could you help.

hji, on most scooters it recommended you use a semi fluid grease, recommend by shoprider on their scooters... plain grease is not ideal as it sticks to the sides of the casing , not lubricating anything ...

a thickest oil would also be ideal, however remember if no gasket is fitted it may leak...hence the semi fluid route..

How to dissasemble sawzall for cleanning

first unplug the tool and remove the handle half, using compressed air blow all the debris out of the brush area and in the front where the gearcase meets the motor housing, blow thru there also. I don't think I would recommend taking the gearcase off but if you are mechanically inclined you can go to milwaukeetools.com and with your model and serial number download a schematic for this tool. The gearcase insulator boot is usually difficult to remove. Let me know if you need more assistance.
