Question about Photography
Hello. Pls I bought this OMNITECH digital photo frame in 2008 and it was working fine until I disconnect and kept it somewhere for my living room and kitchen renovations for 6 months but now the works is done and my photos frame refuse to turn on. Pls help me cos I love this product so much.
I have the same problem. It's not switching ON. I couldn't find the rest button as mentioned by the first person who answered. Looked on all 4 sides. Am I missing something?

There should be a small hole on the back of the unit, use a pin or a needle to reset the software but be sure to remove your sd card first otherwise it could wipe all of your pictures, once this is done be sure to give it a full charge while switched off, when it has fully charged (16+Hrs) switch it on and insert your sd card, If this does not fix it then I am sorry but I know of no other fixes

The A701 is a bit cranky. I've found that it prefers USB flash sticks of upto 2GB. It likes the flash stick formatting before use. And it prefers jpg files added to the root directory of the flash stick - so no images in folders. Finally but probably least important, it's not much point uploading 2MB jpgs as the screen is pretty much 72DPI smaller size JPGS lead to a faster loading. ( try around 900x 600 dpi )

Alot of the digital photo frames will only display images up to a certain resolution. There is a good chance your camera resolution is too high for the photo frame. try change the settings on your camera to 3mp or so and take a few photos and see if they will display.

I can not get my frame to change off of buttons is temporarily inoperative. I have downloaded the software called smartparts desktop. I have been able to move pictures into the software, however, it will not copy into the frame and frame still reads buttons is temporarily inoperative.
