I have only a cheap one (VX-1100), but when this is happening on mine, the stop-motion knob isn't fully engaged with the balance wheel. They are held together by one being tightened to the other for sewing, loosened for bobbin winding. Michael

SOURCE: hi i want to buy

Hi,

I would prefer Kenmore, enmore makes perhaps the largest selection of mechanical machines. The very cheapest Kenmore sewing machines, like the Kenmore Mini (*est. $100) and Kenmore 15208 (*est. $120), stick with a four-step buttonhole, and have just six and eight stitches, respectively. The Kenmore 15212 (*est. $150) and Kenmore 15218 (*est. $170) both have a one-step buttonhole. The cheaper Kenmore 15212 has 12 stitches. The slightly more expensive model has 18 stitches, including a smocking stitch, overcast and elastic stretch stitch in addition to the basics. Both Kenmore sewing machines are good, basic models, say reviews. Both have just a 90-day warranty, however. Bear in mind that Kenmore sewing machines are made by different Asian companies each year, resulting in varying degrees of quality; this also explains the low prices. Some users report difficulty with tension and light fabrics.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

SOURCE: balance wheel on my sewing machine LS 2125 is

Always turn the handwheel towards you, never away because you can mess it up. Check your bobbin area to be sure there is no lint, cloth etc jammed in there.

SOURCE: hi, sewing last night and in the middle of it,

It must have some thread or material caught in the bobbin area. Take out the bobbin and see if the wheel turns after the area is all cleaned out. Always turn the wheel towards you not away because it can mess up your timing. Try that and I hope that it helps. If not, call Brother at 1-877-276-8437 and see if they can assist you.

How do I get the wheel off an old Singer sewing machine model 66

If you are talking about the Balance wheel on the od Singers it is fairly easy.
You first need to remove the small screw in the clutch ( which is the chrome knob in the middle of the balance wheel) Once this is removed you can completely unscrew the clutch and then remove the balance wheel

Pfaff 1475 manual

Not sure if your model is the creative 1475. The closest I can find at a service website of Pfaff is 1473. Check if this is similar to your model and it shows where the balance wheel goes.

I have a two in one sewing machine modle CBT-938 where can I buy parts?

I would suggest buying yourself a nice one, wether it's a new or used sewing machine but please make sure to get a manual with the machine you buy
if you check ebay make sure they have feedback of 90 to 100..
thrift stores are ok but you never know why they gave the machine away, it
could be a treasure to sew on or a pain in the pocker book.
