Yeah, it can be done. Instead of the booster being 12 volt, you'll be using a 120 volt booster. Won't make a difference on output of booster, 4 amp and up, whether it's 12 volt or 120 volt power input, you'll just be using more power from your car battery. Be sure you've a good charging system.
