The wires provided for a radio system are as follows:
yellow = hot with ignition key ON
orange = hot from BATT at all times
Grey = dimming power from instrument panel
Black = ground
Harness Wires provided for the speakers as follows:
Left rear speaker = +brown -yellow
Right rear speaker = +dark blue - light blue
Left front door speaker and tweeter = +tan - grey
Right front door speaker and tweeter = +light green -grey
Note: connection colors at the speaker location differ as noted:
Right front door = +brown -yellow
Left front door = +brown -yellow
All other speaker connections are consistent with their harness colors.
You have to first diffentiate the power from the speakers. The ORANGE, RED and BLACK are the power. Connect the RED to continuous supply of the battery which is available in the accessories socket, the Orange to the switched power which is also available in this socket. The Black should be connected to the best ground available, check all these using a good meter. Next greys, the greens, one with the red mark on the wire to be connected to the positive of the speaker , the black mark to the negative. repeat this for allthe other wires and test. Now if you think that on balancing to one side the bass is better, reverse one side of the polarity of the speaker.can be the front speakers or the rear. I think you can get this right. Good day
