Hi and welcome to Fixya!

Your machine may have a virus or a malware on it or the poor performance could also be caused by a corrupted OS. For these issues, it always best just to start over again.Luckily for your machine there is a very easy way to do this. just follow this simple instructions:

Step 1:
Click "Start" menu.
Step 2:
Click "Programs."
Step 3:
Click "Acer Recovery Management."
Step 4:
Click the "Restore" button on the bottom of the dialog box that opens.
Step 5:
Click "Restore System to Factory Default."
Step 6:
Click "Yes" in the warning dialog box which asks if you wish to continue the recovery process.
Step 7:
Click "Start" to restore the computer to the default factory settings.
Tips & Warnings
If you are unable to access the Start menu, use the recovery CDs that came with the computer or visit Acer's website.
Always make a back-up CD before restoring a computer to factory defaults.

Hope this helps!

Hi, well i fear that the installation of that malware is stopping the phone from working correctly.

The thing that i think you need to do, is to completely return the phone to "As from the factory", so perform the Factory Reset, and then Format any other storage to overwrite any malware and destroy it.

Then unfortunately you will have to set up everything all again, but this will be a small price to pay for having it working again.

How to reset the pedal 25 ME? thank you.

You can restore the settings in the ME-25 (memories, tuner

reference pitch, and knob response method) to the values set when

the unit was shipped from the factory.

Performing a factory reset causes all settings saved in memory to be

lost. If you want to keep the memory settings, use the ME-25 Librarian

(p. 11) to save them on a computer.

1.

Hold down [EXIT] and press the MEMORY DOWN

pedal at the same time.

"FA" appears in the display.

2.

Press [WRITE].

The Tuning Guide flashes.

3.

Press [WRITE] again.

The display flashes and the factory reset is executed.
Never turn off the power while factory reset is in progress.

My mini netbook has virus and it is not letting me to open anything. i have macafee on it, but still unable to do perform anything. How i can remove the virus from netbook? OR how can i restore it to...

Be sure your firewall is activated. You can chose to use the windows firewall pre-installed on your Netbook or you can activate the firewall in you anti-virus package.
Run a cleaning software designed for detecting spyware on a regular basis to maintain Netbook processing speed and to remove items picked up by your Netbook while surfing the web. CCleaner is a solid free version of spyware cleaner.
If you suspect malware on your computer because it is running slowly, has strange pop ups or the anti-virus software detects it, then download software designed to find spyware and eliminate spyware. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, A-squared Free and SuperAntiSpywate Free are free versions of adware removal tool to consider. These tools get rid of spyware when used individually or in tandem. Continue to run the software until all spyware, viruses and malware are removed.

How To Use the Restore Factory Settings CD
1. Make sure to transfer all of the files you want to keep to a USB memory stick or burn to a CD.
2. Put the Restore Factory Settings CD into the CD drive. This CD was packaged with your computer.
3. Confirm you want to restore the factory settings. The computer will begin restoring all settings. Don't disturb your computer, as this process can take several hours. .
4. Reboot the computer to complete the process.

I'm encountering dll errors when I try to access Internet Explorer, even though I'm connected to the modem. How do I fix this?

Hello

Does Internet Explorer start or does it fail to load and displays the .dll error message?

Typically, .dll error messages are caused by 1. out of date Operating System, 2. viruses / spyware / malware on the computer that have over-written valid .dll files, 3. a failed program install

Since IE came with the OS, options 1 or 2 are more likely the cause of the problem. And, yes, you can still get viruses / spyware / malware while on a modem.

Make sure your antivirus is up to date and scan your hard drive for viruses (if you do not have an antivirus program - get one for free - search for AVG)

Make sure you have a spyware /malware detection program, update it and scan your system for spyware/malware (free from Microsoft - search for Windows Defender, other companies also offer free personal versions)

Very important - do both steps above, reboot and repeat 3 times. The computer holds the settings from the last 3 successful reboots, called Control Sets, in the Registry. Scanning the current Control Set only cleans it. It does not clean the other sets and viruses /spyware / malware can be re-introduced to your system if you perform a "Last Known Good" boot or use System Restore to restore your system to a previous date.

Computer freezes at least once a day

Hi,

Computer freezing could either be:
1. hardware caused or
2. software driven.

Things you can try:
a. hardware - if the warranty won't be void, open the case and remove, clean, re-insert the memory. Cleaning can be done with the use of a pencil eraser on the little gold pins of the memory.
You can also try to set the BIOS/CMOS to "Default Settings" to override any enhance settings that might be "just a bit too much" for the system. This could be done by pressing on "Del" (normally in most PCs) immediately after Power ON before the your OS boots and looking for the selection "Set to Default" or something like that;
b. Scan/Clean your PC for any possible virus and/or malware. Free download of some good ones are Avira and Ad-Aware.
c. Streamline your OS configuration and minimize programs running in the background. A couple of suggestions:
c.1. increase your swap file/virtual memory to roughly double your physical memory;
c.2. defrag your main hard drive;
c.3. Trim/slim down your startup files (msconfig);
c.4. select "Adjust for best performance" in your Performance Options (System properties);

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
