You need set notification setting. From setting menu you also can make all custom configurations.

1)Visit web.whatsapp.com on computer
2)Open WhatsApp on your phone
-On Android in chats > menu > WhatsApp Web
-On Nokia S60 and windows phone > menu > WhatsApp Web
-On iPhone > settings > WhatsApp web
-On blackberry > chats > menu > WhatsApp Web
-On blackberry 10 - swipe down from top of screen > WhatsApp Web
-On S40 - swipe up from bottom of screen - WhatsApp Web

I would like to ask you a few trouble shooting questions before proceeding further. The questions are mentioned below

1. Did you download any software or anything before the problem started.
2. Did the problem start after you downloaded whatsapp.
3. When was the last time you updated your phone.

If you have downloaded anything from the net then please go ahead and uninstall it or delete it. Delete Whatsapp and then update your phone. Once your phone is updated then please go ahead and delete all the cache files in the settings of your cell phone. Please go ahead and install whatsapp. Let me know if you still face the problem.

Would you please ask VODAM customer service people if VODAM support WhatsApp? If not then you can do the following thing.
Restart your Phone
Sign-out from Apps account
Sign back in
search for WhatsApp application
download it.
