Question about Cameras
The adverts on the roku box says it will play movies, and I checked and it also states that mp4 is a compatible format. is the roku just a piece of junk or is there a way to use this thing like it promised. I am not in watching tv shows or movies for $3 to $12 a pop. Id be broke in 2 months.
Have the same issue and the only fix was I gave it to my brother since I couldnt figure out what or why it had so many short falls.
If you can return it still you might want to consider something more user friendly.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

there's nothing wrong with your camera...u just need some codecs installed in your computer to playback some viedos...try install Ace Mega Codecs Pack 6...here's the link:
if this is not working, try and download some video players as well:
This should do the trick...It will work...bye bye

you can change the default player to Itunes, Windows media player, Picasa, divx or something else you have by right clicking, selecting "open with" and choosing a new program that does accept MP4.

Hey! There are a lot of such conversion tools. I am now using this Wondershare DVD Converter Ultimate, which helps me convert various video format to any video/audio format I need(indcluding the format you have mentioned). And it also helps me burn dvd from video. It works well for me. You can also have a free trail of it. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: I have a Samsung SL620
Probably because the tv doesn't have the correct circuitry to play videos. If you have a VHS recorder connected to the tv, you could download the video to a tape and play it that way. I have a Dish Network HD DVR. It has a usb connector allowing me to download to the DVR and play slide shows and videos.
