It sint the power jack, but rather the Power control circuit. This circuit isnt repaired but replaced. I recommend taking this to an authorised service center or a certified technician of the latter is not easily avilable. If you choose to repair this at your own risk please remember doing so without the necessary knowledge will result in major damages.

There are 2 password type first 1 is bios password if tell me about your bios password it prompt when u powerup follow procedure below
For that you need to reset factory defaults settings for bios.
For reset bios u have to open back side of your laptop then u find motherbord circuit there.
pull cmos cell on motherbord for 15 minute then it reset to defaults.
Also u can reset with jumper settigns read carefully on mother bord there is 1 jumper near cmos cell u read there " bios reset or clear"
It is on 1-2 position right now set it in 2-3 position then power up then all bios settings are reset.
then again set it in 1-2 its original position.
Then it not want password.
And if u tell about windows password
Then when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in safe mode then wait until it prompt for user passsword
then enter in administrator then if u able to enter then reset your password.
But if u set and forgot default administrator password then u should need winxp recovery disk.

It is not easy. If it uses the standard round connector you need to find a replacement one (Radio Shack had the one I replaced) Then de solder the old one then solder the new one. This takes special tools you can also get at Radio Shack but if the connector is too close to small components then you will need a soldering iron with a variable heat option. Sorry long way to say.
Yes you can, on a skill-set from 1 to 10 this is about an 8
You will spend $70 (Retail) in tools for a fix the manufacturer will charge you $80 + Shipping for. Plus the manufacturer is less likely to leave you with a cold solder joint and melted plastic.
Sorry about the bad news.
Hope this was useful

most of the machine speed problems came as a result of virus. so the most appropriate thing to do is to freshly install the operating system and install an anti-virus
