Question about Washing Machines
The F08 error indicates that the heater isn't coming on. The problem could be the wiring, the heater relay, the element or the pressure switch. Check your error first though. An F0B error is a load out of balance issue.
If the error happens only at the spin cycle, check the load distribution. If it happens when the washer is filling, you'll need a multi-meter and the trouble-shooting guide that is tucked into the washer in the control panel housing. A burnt wire may be visible on a visual inspection. Use the guide to check the resistance and current flow results to narrow down the cause from the other possibilities.
I hope this helps.

An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes.
there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service.
Step 1: Check the drain pump filter.
Items caught in the drain filter will prevent proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine.
Step 2: Check the washers drain hose.
If the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.
Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly.
If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a level on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confrim that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.
you can perform a diagonal test when leveling the washing machine to ensure that the unit does not tilt from corner to corner.

this is a tachogenerator fault or the drive motor brushes are faulty. you will need a Miele service tech or a Miele service agent to look at this.

If it has water in the the machine, it has a safety feature that will not allow the door to unlock. There is a manual release but you have to take the bottom kick plate off. Unplug the washer. Then reach up on the right side of the washer and you will feel a plastic lever about the size and shape of a nickel pull down on this lever to release the door. If it full of water i would clean the pump first to get rid of the water. you can clean the pump by taking off the kick plate and you will see a pump with a lid with a handle on it. you can unscrew this and it will have a trap attached to the back of the lid. pull the trap out and clean any debris out then screw it back in. make sure to have buckets and towels handy once you unscrew the lid any water in the machine will fly out at you. the easiest way to avoid this is to clamp the hoses that go to the pump.
