How to replace a broken stud on 99 pontiac sunfire

hub studs are just a press in fit . the replacement can usually be done with out the hub removal. remove the drum /disc rotor
using a hammer and punch drive the broken stud out. place new stud in position and pull in to place using nut and spacers to get it home .
if you can remove the hub and drive the broken stud out . fit new stud and place the hub over something like a piece of pipe /socket the new stud in the pipe or socket) that is on something solid and hammer the new stud home.

If the attachments are press studs then drill out the centre of the studs to get them apart. replace using small bolts and nuts or use new studs again from hardware shop

My 91 Honda Accord EX wagon has a broken lug on front driver side. How do i fix it, & will it be ok in the meantime with the three lug nuts on tight?

It is not recommended to drive it like that. It's not too bad to replace but it depends on your level of mechanical skill, You need to remove the brake caliper and disc and then you can simply knock the remains of the broken stud out with a hammer and punch, To fit the new one insert the stud and then put a large nut over the thread, then fit the lug nut and tighten it to pull the stud into the hub, then simply remove the lug nut and put it all back together.

Hya, does anyone know how to remove the hood from the carrycot base. Its a roan kortina pram, its really baffling me! lol thanks :)

To remove the hood from a roan kortina there are a small button at the side of the hood where it connects to the base, this needs pushing in while pulling hood out.... do this on both sides to remove hood. I found this out only by ripping the lining on my pram.... stupid!!!!!!

How to remove routers for a for bronco 85 302 full sized

Removing rotors.

1. Jack up, put on jack stands and remove tire (obviously)
2. Remove caliper
3. Remove bolts holding locking hub body to hub
4. Remove snap ring from end of axle, Remove hub retainer ring from ID of wheel hub. Use a small screwdriver or pick to start it out of the groove. Remove the hub body
5. Remove the outer bearing lock nut, lock washer and the inner adjusting nut
You need the special socket for this OTC #7158 or similar
6. Remove the outer bearing and then the hub
7. To separate the rotor from the hub, use a soft faced hammer to drive the studs out
8. Turn the hub over and set the new rotor in place. Put the studs back in.
9. I will usually use an air hammer to drive the studs back in. Alternating in a circular pattern. If you don't have access, you can use a large diameter punch or another hammer on the back of the studs.
10. Now would be a good time to repack the bearings and replace the wheel seals. Pull the spindles and check the bearings and seals in the back of them. If they are not rusted, slab some grease on them and put back together.
11. Install the hub and rotor assy, and the outer bearing and bearing adjustment nut.

How do you fit the ventura plus car seat onto the silver cross 3d pram?

Hi,

This is a little difficult to explain in text, but here goes..

Recline the seat unit to it's lowest position.
On the arm rests of the pram, there is a piece of fabric covering each arm, these are attached via press studs, undo these and fold them backwards onto the seat area.
This will reveal a plastic hook underneath, these are folded down and need to be raised upwards.
Next, get the Ventura carseat and ensure that the handle is in the carrying postition (i.e facing upwards). On the base of the carseat at the back (directly underneath babys head) there is a distinct cut out shape that will fit snugly onto the bumper bar of the pram, place the carseat on top of the pram (so it is positioned on the seat facing you) and push it down gently. If this is the first time that you have done this, the material may be quite plumped up so you may need to push a little harder.
At the base of the carseat handle either side, there is a button (this is used to adjust the handle position) push these buttons down at the same time and move the handle backwards (away from you) until the handle makes an audible 'click', this means that this has now secured onto the plastic hooks that you first exposed on the arms of the pram.

This should now be securely fastened onto the pram.
I would also suggest that you visit this website as per the link below and download the user manual for the 3D so that you have this is picture format in front of you.

I hope this helps.

Evenflo exersaucer with animals and a jeep which plays music. How do you change the batteries in the jeep?

It's a little tricky and you'll end up ruining a couple of hte stickers. This is what you'll need to do -
1. Pry the latches loose under the top that hold the jeep in place
2. Unscrew the 4 screws that hold the jeep to the base
3. 2 of the wheels have screws - use a small screwdriver to remove these
4. The window stickers on the same side as the wheel screws cover 2 more screw holes - you'll need to feel for these and poke holes through the stickers to get to the screws.
5. Once you remove all these 4 screws, the jeep should come apart in 2 halves. Dont exert too much pressure while separating them.
6.The inner assembly (purple with gorilla) slides out of the body of the truck. The base of this assembly has 3 batteries that you'll need to pry out and replace.

Broken wheel stud

1. get new studs and nuts
2.remove wheel
3. remove caliper at bracket to spindle connection(2 18mm bolts?)you may need to remove caliper from bracket, but not always nessacery. Or remove drum, then to #5
4.remove rotor, will need a hammer, tap inbetween studs dont wreck good studs and see if new studs can be installed without removing parking brake shoes. If there is no clearance to get new stud in you will need to remove shoes.
5.Pound out old studs place new stud in hole use a washer on outside then put a nut on and tighten to install stud, A air gun or some type of impact tool will be very helpful. Check to see that stud has enough threds to pull stud all the way thru ,add more washers if nessecary dont let the nut run out of threds it will **** to get back off and wreck new stud.
6. if you dont have air gun or feel comfertable removing brakes bring it to a reputable garage, shouldnt cost more than $70+ parts to get all new studs put in on one wheel.

Where is the body control module located on a 1997 town & country

It is located on the back side of the underdash fuse box (junction block). You remove the lower steering column cover and knee blocker reinforcement. Then remove two plugs from the bottom of the BCM.
Remove the bolts holding the junction block to dash panel mounting bracket. Remove the junction block from the bracket. Remove screws holding the BCM to the junction block. Slide the BCM downward to disengage guide studs on jb from channels on BCM mounting bracket
