I dismantled the intake tube from the bottom to unclog. When I re-assembled, the handle's downward motion is now very stiff and won't adjust to under tables, etc. without me pushing it down manuall, and then it tips up when handle is extended out. I have the slot at bottom of bag pushed in the slot at the bottom when re-attached the intake tube ...what could be causing this?

It's the fan housing tube at the bottom that is "stiff" and hard to move by the way (which you probably already figured out.Even dismantled, separating the intake tube from the fan housing.

I need a you tube showing me how to replace the handle release. when I pick up the vacuum by the handle the vacuum head flops down

If you remove three screws you can remove the assembly with the foot pedal. Look at how it is installed closely in the assembly, including the spring, shaft and pedal. Disassemble it and install a new foot pedal exactly the same way you took it apart.

My 1 month old Oreck upright is not sucking in anymore. Worked fine for about 3 weeks. Now it just seems to push stuff around. I'm not sure if it is the bags? Ordered what I was told to order.

The intake tube could very well be clogged. Its pretty simple to disassemble. This happens commonly on Oreck, all you need is for something stiff to get lodged sideways in the tube then everything builds up around it.

NOT DISPENSING

Does water squirt out of the hose nozzle, if it does, then check the heater inside the handle asm. Make sure that where the tubes hook up to it are not clogged. If water doesn't squirt, check for the seal at the bottom of the tank, it needs to be on the tank, not in the hole. The flow indictor cap is leaking air or maybe is too tight. If you had the top cover off, make sure that the tubes are routed right so as not to get pinched when the cover is put back on, the smart mix knob should be in the water setting and that the piston is on the bottom of the smart mix knob. Pump is bad. Try running a mix of vinegar and water to see if that unclogs the lines.

Bissell PRO Heat Steam Cleaner is not dispensing the water. I took it apart and cannot find any obvious issue with it i.e loose tubes, connectors etc.

Bissell Powerwash Proheat, flow indicator not rotating

Is it spraying? Is so, maybe the cap for the indictor can be too tight, or loose, maybe be bad and allowing an air leak. The white filter under the indictor may need to be cleaned. If no spray:

Clog in vaccuum

By Z, I think you mean it uses Z bags. There should be a screw and a nut ay the bottom of the handle asm. Take it out, then you can pull the handle off of the base asm. Then you can get to the tube and dig out the clog.

Seems to be sucking from a vent on the canister (under the handle)???

After cleaning out the right side (same side as the floor surface adjuster is) we found a popsicle stick and some other large debris clogging the tube going from the motorized roller section to the canister body. We used a pair of pliers to unclog it and were back in business! The vent in the top is probably to prevent the vacum from breaking itself from all the suction buildup. Hope others can find this helpful!
