Question about Vacuums
Where is the switch to turn on..could switch be defective
Could be, but many times the wire right be the plug breaks. Many users pull on the cord. Should pull on the plug instead. Pulling the cord and with a wiggle is worse.

I just replaced the belt on my Everstar VC-9550 and it works fine. I found it at Home Depot for $3.99. The belt is sold under Vac Belts item No. 51007 (Designed to fit Bissell Uprights, Style 7,9,10).
