Beep codes as they are called are ways for a computer to notify users of an issue with the system.
these codes usually have patterns. Such as three long 1 short. Much like morse code.
You can look up beep codes using a search engine like google, bing, yahoo.
Or if you have a manual for your computer the beep codes for that particular model are listed inside.

Some general beep code issues include but are not limited to.
Bad ram, one or more sticks of ram in your computer may be faulty.
Bad power, Your power supply may not be providing the correct voltage to your computers main board, or a cable may be loose or unplugged.
