You can use the default application of IOS find friends. Send them a request and if they accept you and have the location services on, on their phone you can locate them.

The app, Find Friends must be downloaded. Then tap "Add" (upper right) and select someone on your Contact list. They will be "invited" to be tracked. If they agree, you will be notified and can find their phone when it is turned on.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I delete Gps destinations?

the only way I know is to clear all recent locations. You can only select individual locations to clear from the favorites. Open maps, tap on the search bar, screen changes to show the common category icons, directly under is RECENTS and under that is Favorites. Tap on Favorites even if has 0 places. A list opens with a menu bar at bottom for Favorites, Recents, Contacts. Select Recents. You then get a Clear button and Done button at top of screen. Clear will remove all Recents. Only Favorites offers individual selections. We can only hope Apple improves this in a future release. I have not checked google maps - maybe it's more user friendly in this regard.

How do I track and get gps location on a cell phone for free when all I know is the number?

On an iPhone you have a Free App to download called Find iPhone.
Generally this is used for locating a lost or stolen iPhone, using another iPhone or Computer and with the ability to remotely play a sound to help locate the device or Delete all the Data on that iPhone remotely.
If you have 2 iPhones or more in a family and they share the same Apple ID Account that you use to purchase Apps (through iTunes) and to Manage & Backup your data & Apps. If both iPhones use the same Apple ID & Password then the "Find iPhone" App can be used to check and see the GPS position of the other iPhone on a map.
The tracking is not saveable as a file. Also www.icloud.com can be used to log in and see the location of all devices in the family (on the same Apple Account).
There is also an App called Find Friends that allows you to track friends current location but it does require & request their permission when first used.
You could also get a free App and install it on the other persons iPhone and simply have it running in the background to remember all GPS location data during a period of time. e.g. a "Pedometer" to track a persons movements. You would require access to the iPhone at some point to recover that data by plugging in to a computer using iTunes to recover the location data. Running some GPS Apps in the background will noticeably reduce the battery as all GPS tracking devices do.
Figure out the details by installing the Pedometer or iTrack App on your own phone first.

Some one knows where I am at any given moment. How can I stop this?

Well, unless they are following you, then they are probably using the GPS locator on your cell phone. In settings on either an iPhone or Android phone, there are location or positioning services, just turn the GPS function off.

If you are not carrying around a cell phone or you try not carrying it and they still know, then perhaps you should see the police.

I have a verizon droid 2 phone and my exboyfriend keeps tracking me how can I stop him from tracking my location with this phone

turning on the phones' GPS feature also turns on the tracking your every move.

Your can track "family members" without downloading and installing the "Family Member Locater" app
onto your Android 2 cellular telephone.

the Android 2 phone users manual:
https://store.verizonwireless.com/imgs/phones/userguide/Droid 2 User Guide.pdf

recommend you download this .PDF file and install the (free) Adobe reader to view it.
from www.adobe.com

To hide your location (from the above manual)
1. press Menu
2 press "Latitude"
this displays your "Friends List"
3. highlight your "Friend" by whom you no longer want to share your location
4. press "Menu"
5. press "Edit Privacy Settings"
6. press "Hide Your Location"

that ought to do it.

IPhone GPS not giving me the right location

This may seem like a silly question, but do you have GPS turned on in settings?

If you try to find your location without GPS on (it won't automatically turn it on) it will use cell towers to triangulate your position.

When your not using GPS, turn it off, it's a battery hog.

Good Luck,
Simon.

GPS not working

Try this -

1) Settings > Enable 3G Change to Off.

2) Use the iPhone GPS receiver to locate your position

3) Settings > Enable 3G change to On.

There are two positioning systems in the iPhone 3G, one is the 3G network, and the second is the GPS receiver. The problem occurs when the data from the two systems doesn't match.
