Probably heating element goes to ground when heating up. Suggest changing element.

SOURCE: tecnik tkc8525/2 SMOKES OUT EVERYTIME IT IS TURNED ON.

It sounds to me that you have a build up of fat and grease,, and that is what the smoke is, the fat burning off the element(s).. If the oven is working o/k otherwise, then just let it burn all the fat and grease off.
Plz rate this solution.
thanks.

SOURCE: Bottom oven not working Tecnik 8525/2

To be certain the element is o/k , you need to test it with a meter.
The fact that it looks o/k proves nothing. If you know how to use a meter, then remove element from oven, and with the meter set on the continuity range, test across the terminals of the heater, if you get fsd, ( full scale deflectoin) then the element should be o/k.
If no deflection , then element is no good.
If in doubt, remove the wires from the element , and try the oven, if it does not trip, then it proves element faulty.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: main oven trips electric when switched on top oven

If the fuse or circuit breaker is tripping it is most likely a short circuit in the oven element.

Hi this is a pretty serious and dangerous fault, please do NOT use it remove it from the Power, pull the breaker or fuse, and please call a professional electrician. You may have a Phase to Frame contact? In any event, it needs to be serviced.

Main oven causes trip switch to trip out when `I turn the dial to switch on. Top oven is fine.

Likely the element is shorted in the main oven. The Calrod elements short usually at the bends and if the breaker doesn't trip they burn a hole in them and arc. You can USUALLY see a different discoloration at teh failure point. Check both upper and lower elements as preheat probably uses both. Use a dental mirror if necessary to see under and over. Use bright light.

If the fuse or circuit breaker is tripping it is most likely a short circuit in the oven element.

When I turn on the electric grill it starts to warm up and then trips out the circuit. It is a new oven we have had in storage for a few years

I would suggest that there is a problem with the grill element, if it only trips out when using the grill, then it will probably need a new element fitting.
If the rest of the oven is working o/k, then that should cure it.

Fan working grill working just no heat in siemens oven

hello the first thing that we need to look at is the electrical box thats is outside and see if there are any more braekers tripped. the clue is that everything work except the heat. thats 208/230 volt and the rest of the oven is 115 volt. e sure to take the breakers and push them all the way to off then back to the on position. if thats is the problem now you are going to have to call a service man to check out what is shorting and causing the breaker to trip.
