Question about Televison & Video
Check whether the source input sockets for firmness. Check it with a DVD or VCR output as its input, and see whether there is colour with picture. If not, check the colour system settings. Go to its video menu, and check whether it is compactable with the input signal you feed. PAL, SECAM, NTSC etc:/
If all are found OK, and still there is no color to picture, and audio output is OK, the main digital processor IC is faulty. It is at its main board, and cannot be replaced by normal soldering technique.
Fault with its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
