Do you have timeclocks or is it an automated system with a controller inside? If its automated, you most likely have a stuck relay. If you have timeclocks, then your clock needs to be replaced.

You're getting air into the filter, which is under pressure when the pump is running. When the pump shuts off that pressurized air blows out through the pump to the skimmer. It sounds like you have a combination of a suction leak and a dirty filter. You may want to change out the sand if it has been in there a while.

Pump won't shut-ff

Hi Ron...
Check your float switch....sometimes they can get stuck to cause this problem of not shutting down after draining the orginal water.
Take the float switch and move it up and down...this may help to clear the stuck switch inside of the float

Won't start

Some cars have an inertial shut-off switch for the electric fuel pump. That switch is sensitive to impact and is designed to shut off the fuel pump in case of collision.

Can you jumper the fuel pump and make it start and continue to run ?
Have you checked to see if you are getting spark when it won't start ?

Alarm won't shut off

This system does not have an alarm. The accessory alarm is something else. Check it's sensor and make sure it didn't get knocked into the pit.

6.6 diesel shut down after starting, still cranking strong but won't start.

I would double check to make sure no air was in line. If it still won't crank, has to be pump.

Maytag maxima door locked

Similar problem here - pump was set for a 58 minute normal cycle, I look in and see it is now showing 67. Hmm. Attempt to shut it off because it is just sitting there pumping and pumping. Power shuts off but pump keeps running and add garment light flashing red. Cannot open door (to add garment or not) Unplug the unit and the door will not open. Anybody got a clue what's up? I have a wash in, service is closed due to a storm today. Just bugs me that it is 6 months old and seems to act up a fair bit electronically.

My hhr will not turn off, where is the battery so i can disconnect it

Unplugging the battery won't shut it down I don't think.

Get into your fuse box under the dash or in the engine compartment and pull the fuse for the fuel pump.
