Question about Crock Pots & Slow Cookers
I have the Black and Decker 7-Quart digital slow cooker and it does not seem to be working properly. Upon reading and following the instructions, everything is seemingly fine and cooking for about 5 minutes, but then the unit starts beeping at me and the display shows an "E3" on it and ceases to function. Am I doing something wrong or is this a mechanical fault?

Even if you can't find an "insert" from Walmart or GE, for that specific cooker, you can use inserts from OTHER cookers that will fit and accomplish what you want. You'll have find one that fits YOUR cooker though. just take the measurements of the diameter of your cooker, go to a store that sells "inserts", and make sure any kind of insert you want is a smaller diameter than your cooker.
