Only thing that could cause all 5 not to hear up is a blocked dryer vent hose if possible start outside where dryer vents through the wall and if not there then continue right into the dryer following the vent hose inside it has to be blocked somewhere either that or you have TERRIBLE luck buting dryer :) lol I'm almost positive you will find a blocked vent house!!

Thanks, the vent isn't stopped up though. I've checked that. Seems like I have terrible luck wih dryers lol. Now I have a different dryer and it won't come on at all, I thought maybe half the breaker was bad or something, so I changed that. Still no heat in the old dryer an he newer one won't turn on at all. It was working before I got it..

Takes 5 hours + to dry a load of clothes.

It should never take 5 hours to dry a load of clothes. If you are experiencing longer dry times and poor drying efficiency, the following link can give you some things to check before assuming you have a malfunction with the dryer:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3578821-dryer_takes_too_long_to_dry

The number one cause of dryer heat related problems is caused by poor exhaust ventilation. If the dryer can't breathe it will not dry efficiently and will cause the heating circuits to overheat to the point of failure. The dryer will actually seem hotter as the heating circuits overheat. This can also become a fire hazard if not resolved. Read through the link provided and review some of the potential causes. Hopefully, this may save you a service call.

If you still have problems, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

DRYERS RUNS FOR ABOUT 5 TO 10 MINUTES THEN STOPS FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES THEN STARTS BACK UP AND RUNS FOR A 5 TO 10 MINUTES .

sounds like your hi-limit temp switch is getting bad,its located on the heating element case to shut-down the dryer element so it doesn't overheat and cause a fire, they can cause problems

Roper Dryer will not heat

I don't have a picture of the rear panel available, but if you have to remove the exhaust duct to remove the panel, I would be checking to ensure the exhaust ducting is not clogged/restricted. The duct does not have to be completely blocked to cause the dryer not to heat properly.

Please take the time to give this solution a fix ya rating.
